Hey everyone! I'm excited to share the complete behind the scenes of my campaign video for Fujifilm with the X-S20. I am using the Fujifilm XF 23mm f1.4 R LM WR lens for all the photos. We had simultaneously the worst and best weather conditions for our photoshoot today. Our session started off in the pouring rain (I didn't know at the time this camera is not weather resistant!) but then we had the most incredible sunset ever by the end of the day! Beautiful shots from the xs20. I recently just got this camera and I love it for my run/gun filmmaking style. Love the compact form and the specs are just right for me. That 23mm is 🔥🔥

portrait orientation photos on the beach were simply magical. landscape close up portraits feel off on this lens for some reason

Great video! It's a hard decision for me to pick the right camera!! I used to be a Canon shooter for the portrait including children and travel photography. I want a light camera with great low light and the best color science. What do you recommend?? Xt5 or other Fujifilm or a7c??

guys I have a question... for Fujifilm is there any way you can transfer videos to an Android phone? like using the app or through a type C cable... I just busted my PC and need to transfer some videos and idk how to do it so..(for VIDEOS)

Gorgeous photos and model.🖤This lens is really amazing - light and sharp. I'd even dare say it's better than the Sony FE 35 1.8 and Canon RF 35 1.8..Also, if Dan is shooting on the X-H2S, does that mean we'll see a review of the X-H2S?

If your camera is wet best to remove the battery and have the battery door open and let it dry out for a week or two. Computer desktop people will put their keyboards in the dishwasher and then let them dry out for a week or two. Only do this with a keyboard that does not have a battery.

No! It is not - be careful; she mentions that it is not weather-sealed in the video and does not recommend using this camera in the rain.

Do you have any videos on different fuji cameras where you use the film simulations? I can't chose! So curious what you, knowing so much about it, feels about the simulations. I just want one that I can use for instagram, I have a nikon z6 for the rest. But there are so many!

@@deathrat thank you! Copying the question I asked on facbeook, maybe you can help even more. Hi there! I use a nikon z6 for my photography work, but I want something lighter for my everyday stuff. I took my old cameras with me EVERYWHERE for years and years and now with a one year old I just cant. I don't have the time, or place. But I miss the everyday shots so freaking bad. This will make this part of my life spark again :') I've obviously looked at the 100v but I feel like maybe I can buy something cheaper for what Im using it for? But there are so many, and I dont usually work with fuji so feel a bit lost. Would love to sort it out a bit, and hope you can help me! 🙂 Which camera would you recommend if I want/need this: - Use mainly for Instagram and smaller things = do not need high resolution. - Need the film simulations. This and the next one is the most important. - Needs to be easy to connect to the phone, with the simulation, to easily be uploaded right away. Thank you 🙂

@@Vardagsvegan1 ooo yeah. I would get the X-T30 with the 15-45, 23mm F2, 35mm F2, 27mm 2.8, or 16mm 2.8. Any of those lenses will be fantastic. Don't sleep on the 15-45 PZ, unless you need the low light capabilities of the F2 primes. I use the 23mm F2 the most and don't plan to get rid of it. Great autofocus, can be used for video, and excellent build quality

Nice pic's and shoot, but just some of the many out there. This looks like a bit of a 'toy' camera and after a decade with Fuji, I recently swapped over to Nikon Z FF. A move I don't regret - the Nikons are great to use and the files are truly gorgeous - much more suited to professional work with the weddings and gigs I shoot. Fuji are a great company and many of the images on my website that get the most comments were taken on Fuji cameras. However, I really do think for serious professional work, one really does need a FF camera. They are just much better at massaging files in high ISO - especially where one missed the exposure and has to pull up shadows. I can do this comfortably with my NEF RAW files and the image holds together. The same course of action on my Fuji RAF files had the image turning to custard. I understand though as an influencer you have to shoot gear, because it is gear blogs and videos that always get the hits. When I write blogs about actual photography, nobody reads them. If I write blogs about gear, I get thousands of hits - sad, but that is the case. Probably then you would prefer your FF Sony or Canon gear that you use, but having to do gear reviews, you must test other brands - we get it. Keep up the good work Julia - you are an inspiration.

The difference between APSC and FF is less and less obvious: you can easily get amazing & professional images with an APSC sensor. And even if the sensor size doesn't really matter, you do know Fuji makes medium format cameras, right?
