Hello, How can I get all the students on headphones while using the app with their Rolands? Do I just link to bluetooth and connect headphones to the digital? Thanks :)

Hi there! Yes. You just connect your iPad to the digital piano with Bluetooth MIDI (assuming your digital piano has that option) and then run a 3.5mm stereo audio cable from your iPad's headphones port into the 3.5mm audio input on your digital piano (some times called AUX IN). Then, plug a set (or two) of headphones into the piano and you'll be able to hear everything that happens on the app AND everything that you are playing live in realtime! Hope that helps!

Is there any reason why the player is using 3rd finger to play both notes?

Hi, ED! Piano Maestro will automatically detect your Bluetooth MIDI connection and offer you the chance to communicate that way at the beginning of every song/exercise/etc. You just have to connect your piano to your tablet via Bluetooth MIDI first. If you have a Roland or Clavinova, you want to open the Roland or Yamaha control app and connect with Bluetooth MIDI first. Always connect via the control app. Then - once connected - you can close the control app and open Piano Maestro. It should automatically work with your Bluetooth MIDI connection. Great question! OH! I apologize. I didn't realize you were asking about a Macbook. Very few apps are available for notebooks (compared to iOS mobile devices) because that is what most folks are using. Sorry about the confusion!

Yeah. Unfortunately, Android devices often have a high audio latency problem. It's hard for apps to sync music because of this. Also, different manufacturers handle audio differently whereas Apple has a unified architecture. That is why so many music and video apps only work on iOS. We're hoping Android can fix this soon because many of us are Android users at home! ...but - in the meanwhile - we all have to have a backup iPad. Hahaha.
