It’s deeper than a pick . He was sayin young black men should pick between staying here in the United States and living their lives being disrespected by society, or live life overseas hence the name “pick something”. This theory is further supplemented by the gentleman in the video choosing to keep his Afro and receive a passport to travel elsewhere , where he will be respected the way he is , rather than changing himself to appease American society.
