How can nobody be picking Son for Tottenham, he's been their best player, Vicario has been great & Maddison was definitely in the conversation before his injury, but Son filled the Harry Kane gap and is back to his best, 10 goals 4 assists, let's not forget Richarlison was trying to fill that gap before & Son had to step into the CF role, he's been unreal again after his dip last season.

But you can't make arguement against vicario tho..singlehandedly sometimes he has put us in the game,also unbelivable saves like i don't even flinch when oppostition gets ahead of our backline and also the goalkeeper with the most cleansheets in the league

I totally agree with the Vicario pick, he's been so good. Really what we needed after Hugo the last few years, but how Bissouma didn't get a mention is beyond me. And with all that said, I still think Pedro Porro has been our best player this year

Because Son’s contribution largely comes from the great build up. He is one of the greatest finisher no doubt, but he is average in other aspects. Madders is an all round player. Look at the drop ever since Maddison was injured

@mudbomb2962 I somewhat agree, but I more think the drop-off is down to VDV, we miss him so much in defence, arguably more than Madders going forward. That said, can't wait til both are back later this month

I like Iwobi a lot, but picking him over Palhinha is pure recency bias. Palhinha gives us a real steel in midfield that lets us assert ourselves and frees up other players to focus on attack. Easily our best player

Van Dijk has been Liverpool's best player this season. He is been brilliant full stop... however when you consider that he hasn't had a recognized dm infront of him for the majority of the season, nor a regular central defensive partner, it really emphasises how good he's been. Liverpool also have joint best defensive record in the league this season.

Plus most chances created in the league last season/up there this season too. Also he’s arguably Portugal’s best performing player in the international team rn too.

Thats why I always tell my mates, liverpool is always on form when Trent is on form look at last season, our season changed against Arsenal(2-2), when Trent got his form back, and also the season after we won the league when we were awful but still finished 3rd

Look I've massive respect for Braithwaite but to say he's been Everton's key player is outrageous! Yes, He is one of the Main Men in that Talented Squad but for me it's Abdoulaye Doucoure! He's been shining under Sean Dyche ever since he entered in early 2023, He's picked up the most goals by a midfielder in the Premier League ever since Sean Dyche joined Everton (11). And the he creates in tight spaces, under pressure is making me rate him even more. He's literally the Main Man for them as he steps up in Big Games with Goals and Assists to his Name , One of the Most Underrated Midfielders in the League in my opinion.

Well written, but as an Everton fan he is not our best player. In fantastic form at the moment and always pops up with a goal. However, he’s clumsy on the ball, and has never convinced me. Branthwaite is worth 80 million+ and is easily our best player at the moment. I’d have Pickford, DCL and even Mcneil over Doucoure for our best player atm.

Inconsistent Saka has 19 goal contributions this season already. Last season he he had 26 i think? Most goal contributions in the CL with by any player with 7 in 5 appearances. It's crazy the numbers he's putting up even though he hasnt been at his absolute best. But nobody can argue with Rice being player of the season, not only the best player for Arsenal, but the best midfielder in the league this season. His consistency is insane and he's still improving as a player.

About Douglas Luiz, he was probably Villa’s best player last season as well. Absolutely unreal player, if Rice is over 100 million I’d argue Luiz should be as well (not that villa would even sell him at the moment, without him they’d be a completely different side)

When Allan Saint-Maximin was at Newcastle, Douglas Luiz was the only player in the league who knew how to consistently shut him down. It was testament to how good he is as a player

@@Zoomye Saint-Maximin was such an overrated player. He was like Neymar with even less end product. For a winger, his numbers for goals and assists were low. Even Wan Bissaka, who is far from a good right back, was shutting down Saint-Maximim.

@@ijl-cy9pp yea. "his day" was pretty rare. And even when he was making use of his best trait.. His dribbling n beating a defender, it often looked like he rarely did anything after.

Biased towards English players as usual, only defender in this list is a Englishman ( Maguire ) from a team who has conceded most goals in a UCL Group Stage, this sums it up ! My disagreements : Arsenal - Saliba / Odegaard Brentford - Jenson Palace - Anderson Man City - Doku / Alvarez Man Utd - Bruno Newcastle - Guimaraes Wolves - Neto / Lemina

For me personally mctominay for United is so clear of bruno and Harry he is so clear has had some bad games but he is also one of the most important in there midfield defensively and when attacking he is the best by far

No offence to englishmen , but Maddison barely makes top 5 in that spurs team. 1) Kulu ( main cam after madders, ball progression , most ground covered , clutch goals ) 2) Son ( 10 g , 4 a). Lw starter for sure , second ball carrier. 3) vicario ( save expert , one of the best shot stoppers in the league currently) 4) VDV , without his pace high line is almost 95% more risky. Also his height helps in winning second balls. 5) madders/ udogie/ bisouma
