You can also can juice for muscle cramps. I can in half pints. Seems to be perfect drinking amounts.

I'll have to buy more pickles just to try this way of making pickled eggs. I've only ever made them with whole cloves beets and juice from beets vinegar and a bit of sugar. Thank you 🙏❤️🙏

You can do something similar using the liquid from pickled beets. The eggs become brilliantly pink. I've also done them using turmeric and soy sauce brines, and have all three colours as part of our Easter basket.

I love reusing the pickle juices. I make English pickled onions then use the left over juice for eggs!

I love pickled eggs and I bet those were delish! Tip, save and dry your eggshells and grind (coffee grinder) and sprinkle on your dogs food for added calcium, who knew lol

Bev, that is exactly how my mom taught me to boil eggs years ago! Eggs come out perfect everytime. I save my pickle juice in the jar and put in sliced cucumbers&onions, stick in fridge, and eat up within the week. It tastes great for a garnish, and nothing goes to waste. Thanks for the tips on pickled eggs. My husband will love it.

Every time I open my jars I think of you saying “for jars always pop”!😂 I haven’t even tried them yet but I do plan to when my current enormous supply of lids diminishes a bit. Hubby bought a couple large boxes of lids for me when he found a sale at Canadian tire and it was too good to pass on he told me. Of course I was ecstatic can never have too many new lids on hand! I make dill pickle poke eggs. I use left over pickle juice, boil my eggs, I take a toothpick & gently poke a hole through the top of egg then the bottom, going about halfway through the egg. Add them to the jar of pickle juice, gentle shake and refrigerate. The egg absorbs the yummy pickle juice! I do add extra garlic cloves & fresh dill at times. Kids Love them, they're always a hit & never last long.

I put mine in a bowl with the lid and Shake It but I never knew about putting them in hot water to boil and I drink pickle juice to help with muscle aches in my legs I just started a little while ago doing it at night time unless I have them during the daytime I do both blessed day❤

My mom used to put eggs in cold water . Turn stove on and let water come to a rolling boil and turn off burner and remove pan from heat. Let sit with lid on 20 minutes. Then ran cold water over the eggs and let cool off. Then peeled them. Worked fine.

This really, really works on peeling fresh eggs! I have an egg man who brings me the freshest eggs! Great makeover meal snack but I really want a dill pickle popsicle !

Very cool! My Korean step father taught me this when I was a kid. Also if you have new eggs, a tip he gave me that works every single time is use a thumb tack and poke a hole in each end of the egg before boiling and even new eggs peel right out that way!

A sip or two of straight pickle brine will settle a sour stomach, too. Cheaper than Tums - and who knows what‘s in those?

Hi Bev! I put a hefty blurb of white vinegar into old pickle juice, a small spoonful of salt, then freshly sliced cukes. Fridge and eat within a week. Never had a problem but boy are the crispy pickles delish. Not shelf stable but they’ll be gone pronto! Best ones I ever made were with Claussen’s refrigerator pickles.

Great informative video Bev, but 'farting' that nickel will become real after all those pickled eggs 😂. I'm sorry, I just couldn't help myself, lol. There's always gotta be that one in the crowd & well tonight, I guess I'll be that one! 😂. Myself & the hubby like pickled eggs & always wondered about using leftover juice this way - now I'll definitely be trying it & your way of boiling eggs. I've always dropped into cold water, let them come to a boil, cover & let sit for twenty minutes - perfect eggs but sometimes they don't always peel perfectly, even with added baking soda. Learn something new from you every video & that's the reason I just so appreciate & love your channel. God bless you ❤

Well if I don’t get to try the pickled egg recipe I will definitely be freezing some for hot days! My boys will be enjoying them too. Thanks from this happy momma. I have 3 adult sons and I love when they come over to eat or dig in the food. It’s like when they were young and I made them a family favorite meal.

The best way I have found to have good peelable.Eggs is to take a push pin.And pop a hole in the big end of the egg.Then put them into boiling water.Once they're boiled shock Them with cold water An ice cubes let them set for a couple minutes and The peels come right off

How do you prevent the eggs form getting rubbery? I never have enough pickle juice because I drink it after eating my boiled eggs - I'd like to know how to make the green pickle juice

The green is from the dill. Just use my basic dill recipe. 1 Quart Water, 1 Pint vinegar, 1/2 Cup Salt. Boil the brine add several xcloves of garlic to the jar. A head of dill in the bottom, fill with hard boiled eggs, add a head of dill on top..pour boiling brine over eggs until overflowing. Screw on lid and turn upsdie down on a towel to cool. Refridgerate.
