Love the video, you made picto click for me moreso than the other vids I've watched. Is there any chance we could get a copy of the material you've written? It would be especially be nice to reference the opener/2 mins burst rotation and I'm sure we would all greatly appreciate it. Thanks regardless, keep up the solid work

solid explanation. Kind of curious how the "feel" of the class is going to be during the prep phase, preparing motifs and doing no damage during those casts is going to be a little weird, but sounds super fun and rewarding once done correctly.

I feel like it's largely pretty flexible in how you play as long as you line up your burst and don't let charges go to waste, which is awesome.

I like this! I think the stamp panel should be lowered down to two icons! That way you have pom, wing then you do Moogle! Then you can do claw, fang then you do Madeen! I wish the painting of the canvases was way lower! That is allot of down time & when you move you have to start over!

So, I'm confused on the hammer. Does it really take three different buttons to use the hammer? It sounds like you have to have a hotbar spot for Steel Muse, Weapon Motif AND Hammer Stamp? Isn't that a little redundant to need three different buttons for this?

Yeah it does feel really weird but the job has so few hotbar buttons anyway in general so it's not exactly a bad thing lmfao

For real. very weird choice to not just replace the Motif buttons with the muse buttons once a canvas is ready. And again, to not change weapon motif->steel muse to the hammer stamp button. I guess they wanted it to look like they have more than 4 buttons I guess?

See, this is what pisses me off and has made me less interested in playing. I mained AST for nearly 8 years, I started at the beginning of HW and mained it since then. They have absolutely gutted my baby to simplify and homogenize it(and DRK, which was my main tank), then they create this convoluted mess of a class which spits in the face of those of us that loved the adaptability allowed and needed to play AST. And don't even get me started on them bringing back Dark Arts for Sage, an ability they removed for similar reasons and then gave to a fucking healer. It's hard to have interest in the game now with all the things they've done to older classes I loved. Great video, though. You're doing great work.
