I find it funny when people say all these bands are their heroes, when in reality you're your own hero. You saved yourself they just helped you when you felt like quitting. They were your motivation. Helping you fight your demons. You were the knight in shining armor. So if you ever feel useless or worthless, just remember you saved yourself.

Okay so i see people commenting their stories down here. So i thought why not give it a try myself. Its gonna be good to finally tell someone what's been bothering me for so long now. So I've been fan of a couple of bands before. And they made me happy but ptv has helped me so much. I've been clean for around 4 years now and I really want to keep it that way. But life has been getting hard again and I don't really know what to do anymore. Cutting has been a great solution but it only works for a amount of time. A few nights ago I was so done with keeping my 'record' up. I almost put the blade against my wrist again, but this song and this band have helped me through it. I know this is just another story but its nice to finally let this out. Thank you to anyone who took the time to read this.

I've heard this live and it's been perfect both times. Most of the crowd that I was with, were fighting tears. Pierce the Veil saved my life, and I'm proud to say that.

I got the chance to look Vic into his eyes and thank him. Stay strong, it's worth it in the end.

I'm seeing so many stories in the comments about how this band and many more have helped people and that makes me want to share mine. When I was going through a really tough time, bands like PTV, BVB, and MCR really helped me and I will forever be thankful for them.

Acoustic ptv kills me, I love it

When I started listening to ptv back in like 7th grade I had no idea that they would impact me THIS much. They're one of the few bands that helped me. I won't go into any detail but even though I'm still going through things I'm now going into high school and I never thought I'd make it this far.

Hearing this after not hearing it in forever. And watching him sing it. It gives me that feeling again of just laying my bed, looking up at my blue Christmas lights in March, being depressed, and feeling a wave of calmness come crashing over me, and my anxiety disappearing.

How can anyone dislike this, or hate this? Pierce the Veil has saved me so many times with this song. Whether its Lindsay Stamey, Jenna McDougall or Vic by himself this helps my tears dry quicker.

This song means so much to me. No one will ever understand how much . I used to be a cutter . I tried to commit suicide twice . I used to be so fucking depressed it wasn't even real. But I started listing to this song and something about it just touched me . Like it was my safe song. Whenever I listened to it I would feel like I was okay because this song describes me so well. I used to be bullied in middle school and my freshmen year of high school . Not just physically but mentally too . They would call me names and even stabbed me with a pen one time . Shit my home life was hell . Living with an abusive step dad and both parents bad on drugs I thought I was living in hell . But I've found this song that helped me so much and have made new friends. I even got a Quote from this song Tattooed on me to remind me "darling you'll be okay" . I just can't thank Pierce the veil enough . And I'm 6 + months clean of cutting as of today. ❤️

the reason why I like this song this song is kind of strange, you see I started cutting in February, on valentines day to be exact and I heard this song and didn't mean anything to me back then. I remember being so done because I trusted someone and told them about my past and they used it against me to get what they wanted, I couldn't take it anymore and broke up with them, I told myself to just hold on and things will get better. finally may had rolled around and I met this amazing guy, he is my boyfriend and best friend and he is the reason I've been clean for 3 months.
