3 жыл бұрынFormula 1 drivers Pierre Gasly of Scuderia AlphaTauri and Alex Albon of Aston Martin Red Bull Racing took to the streets of the transcontinental city Istanbul, Turkey with a driving display through the town and on the 15 July Martyrs Bridge. The occasion celebrated the long-awaited return of F1 to the country with Turkish Grand Prix, as well as the debut of premium fashion brand AlphaTauri.
Straddling the Bosphorus Strait that separates Europe and Asia, Istanbul is one of few cities to be located on two continents and has played a prominent role on the route between east and west for centuries. Albon and Gasly took two F1 cars onto the 1,560m-long suspension bridge that crosses the strait as part of their road trip, becoming the first drivers in history to perform a pit stop and doughnuts in one city across two continents at the same moment... @@aadastroyergg1922 wouldn't say this session.. started the session with a potential win before getting spun and finally got his first podium only to regress, then showing up for 50% of the Turkey race, but unfortunately it's the first half. His career is crazy tho. He was a contract driver in F2 so he literally had to perform every race, and got 3rd overall just one point shy of 2nd which is held by Norris. Get into formula e just to be scoped up by TR last minute. Then got into one of the fastest car half session in with a strong first +15 positions race with RBR. Arguably there may be plenty of other seatless drivers that deserve it better than what he's showing this session, but I hope to see him more in F1, perhaps fight for another podium in the last 3 race or even a win

Fun fact : Actually, Alphatauri car had a problem and stopped working in Arnavutkoy/Bosphorus shootings. Because of that, they've called day off, and other day they've fixed the car.

Nowdays F1 front noses are a lot lower, in 2022 noses will touch the front wing. So there is / will be no visibility from that camera angle. Plus, back in the days, that space under the nose where is located the camera, was needed in order to generate enought airflow under the car, a camera locad there would be somehow probleatic i think.
