But it's rather interesting, in a sense, as it serves as a clear indicator of journalism's sad and accelerating decline. It's clear from the reporter's aggressive tone of voice and body language that he was attempting to elicit a similarly aggressive response from Mr. Poilievre that would mirror his own.

This reporter disrupts the statement from the beginning, arrogantly trying to turn the occasion from a statement-then-questions event into a "defend-yourself-from-my-accusations" event. Pierre should have stopped forging ahead, STFU, and said, "Yes, Sir, I will be taking questions at the end of my speech." This, he eventually did, but that's why the reporter kept interrupting. The reporter wasn't being a troll _per se_ he just wanted a quick answer. The fact is that they were both being rude. If I was Pierre, I would have clearly stated that I would later be taking questions before even commencing my speech.

That would have been the polite thing to do, but Pierre isn't going to help himself by being rude back. By the way, you began your question with 'okay', which should have been capitalized. You single-spaced after a question mark and failed to capitalize 'so'. Then, for dessert, you used the possessive 'your' (lower-case again) instead of the correct 'You're'. To your credit, you refrained from using an exclamation mark. Congratulations on your restraint.
