Piers Morgan speaks to tech entrepreneur Bryan Johnson, who is 45 years old but claims to have the organs of a much younger man due to a strict and regimented lifestyle led by science.
Bryan takes over 100 pills a day and doesn't drink or eat junk food - and insists he's the happiest he's ever been. So can we really reverse ageing? Piers finds out more...

What I applaud this guy for is... he's using himself as the project. He's not subjecting others to do some new or crazy ideas. Not selling anything, no scam related and all. So, big kudos to this guy. To me, his lifestyle is pure hellish nightmare, but I'm glad he's enjoying it and probably making experiments for future projects for others to use.

He is not only fit. One can tell that he is also mentally fit by not being defensive with Piers’ questions. He has a rigid regimen but has an open mind and is able to laugh about it. The guy kept mocking Bryan for so long and even referred to him as a fool but at the end of the day, he is the one who is fat, looks extremely unhealthy, has tough time moving on a chair, visible signs of terrible sleep and anxiety. Not only that, he mocked someone who is just radiating extreme health and goodness aura, Bryan looks healthy every single way a person can look healthy. This says a lot about these so called health experts who tell you what you should do and what you should not do. It's like a person who read a ton of articles about swimming and watched hundreds of hours of lectures about swimming but never set his foot in water is here to mock Michael Phelps talking about how you can swim better, pathetic.

I quit going to see men like him years ago as they are truly the greatest danger to our health. Aside from their own appalling lifestyle habits, they're cynical, always in foul moods and extremely lazy when it comes to research and staying up-to-date with what's happening in their field. They arrogantly think their formal education alone is all that's needed for them to be the authorities. Not to mention they do big pharmas bidding, putting most of their patients on drugs they don't need that make them 100 times more sick. They resent the likes of Bryan because they will single-handedly embarrass them with facts and prove that science has long moved on without them....that they either need to catch up fast or get out of the way.....

If no one had told me anything about Bryan Johnson, I'd say he looks like a very healthy 40-45 year old. When he holds completely still, he looks young for his age, but as soon as he speaks, smiles, or does anything that bunches his facial muscles, you can see all the tiny wrinkles that are normal for someone in their 40s and above. I do applaud his effort and dedication and achievements, though we should all keep in mind that he is not "reversing ageing", but rather ageing very well.

I think he looks like a very healthy 40 year old, which lines up with the 5 years younger than his biological age that was quoted. Also, there’s a huge difference between a healthy looking 40 year old and an unhealthy looking 20 year old. I think a 40 year old can easily look better than someone 20 years younger if they are in shape. Bottom line, I’d say he looks good period.

I was hoping to hear more scientific responses than "vitamins are bad because I said so" and "getting older is good because I am old and when I was 18 my mother passed away", and flagrant accusations of mental deficiency. Piers did a great interview, and Bryan also. I wish they asked the actual doctor involved a bit more.

Thanks for bringing Bryan Johnson on your program. I think a lot of us have been wondering what his lifestyle is like and why he’s doing it, which now shows a value beyond the importance for one man. My take away from this interview is that I doubt that most of us couldn’t do this extreme lifestyle for all sorts of reasons, but some of what is mentioned makes a lot of sense. We all know about exercise and eating well, not smoking, Alcohol in moderation. The notion of finding out from your body what it needs is intriguing and I hope at some point there’s a lot of information about this posted online. Generally speaking, bloodwork and other tests that point to deficiencies are probably the way to go for the ordinary person to rectify those deficiencies towards overall good health.

Jesus said, "I tell you the truth no one will see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me." For God so loved the world that He give His only Son that whoever believes in Him will not perish but will have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world but to save the World through Him. For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord, and All who call upon the name of the Lord will be saved. " If you want to be sure of Heaven and avoid the other place below say the following prayer sincerely from your heart." Lord Jesus I repent and am sorry for my sins forgive me. I forgive all who have offended me. Come into my heart and save me. I accept you as my Lord and Saviour. Fill me with your Holy Spirit and baptise me with your Holy Spirit. Fulfill your plan and purpose in my life. "I recommend you read John's Gospel especially chapter 3.Gbu.John 3v3v22,John 14v6.

People are just being ignorant and stupid if they think eating healthy, exercising and taking care of their body is miserable. The major reason why people are miserable, depressed is because they don't eat well or rest well. I grew up not snacking, I don't drink soft drink, eat fast foods candy, cakes. You name it any and all junk food is just meh to me. I literally don't enjoy them because they are made way way too salty or too sweet. They are made for people who always consumes these things and has already dull or numb their taste buds. Milk chocolate is probably the worst thing ever. It's so sweet to the point that I want to vomit. So not having any of those foods clearly doesn't make my life sad at all, having to eat them is what's actually torturing to me. I just have to make my own desserts and that's alright. Since I can control the amount of sugar. But most people would think they are tasteless or not sweet enough. I feel the advantage that I can eat a dessert once in a blue moon and feel very happy and satisfied. While others are like a full drug addict to junk food. Like they crave these things where I just don't suffer from any craving. A little goes a long way for me and I am loving it. So I have to say that I am feeling great and don't feel like I miss out on anything. I do eat more expensive though since I only buy organic eggs, grass feed grass finish organic free range meats and wild caught seafoods only. However I feel like it's fine because I never waste any money on snacks, fast foods, take outs, coffees. I save so much money because of my diet that I can put all the money I saved into my good meats and seafood

Bodyfat might so low to the point it makes him look older, but he said the 20% caloric deficit was on purpose as they're studying how it benefits the body. They claim he has the skin of a 28 year old, but I suspect his collagen levels don't match, which should be expected of a person in their 40s. Maybe they're already tackling that issue but it takes time for the body to react. He's only been at this for 2 years, after all. I'd say he looks youthful, but not yet young. Lacks the softness of someone in their teens. I hope he achieves his goal and democratizes it for the rest of us who don't have the millions lying around to spend on our own research.

@@bogdanisac2212 Well, I can't help but ponda as I just watched earlier today Bryan Johnson in a video posted five days ago titled "Will my son's blood make me younger?". In that video he states his age is 49 years old going to be fifty soon, yet yours here posted 2 months ago states he is 45?? Getting younger by the day, actually going backwards in age hay! Lets not forget it starts with being a BILLIONAIRE who we know can get all soughts of scientific support (just take WHO and the pandemic, vaccines) as the latest example, where money buys you control along with any opinion you desire. Again using the aging population to remove the truth of the aging BILLIONAIRES we have at the moment all getting older, fearing death. Many are using their money to come up with ways to extend life, at least for them because they also know we are already over populated. When these people talk of doing anything for humanity they really mean their very own tight $$$$$$$$$ community - the rest are just work horses to keep the cream on top rolling inn. When will they stop trying to play god just to live longer, they are more to blame for the crap position of the world than any average person alive today. Yet, never take any responsibility, they and the doctors are no more than modern day Frankenstein doctors playing god :/ no wonder it is indeed a sad world.

My grandma just turned 99 last week! It's quite amazing and our family would probably agree that her secret is being surrounded by family (my mom or aunts take her out to goodwill almost every other day), staying active (walking to church everyday until the last couple of years) and a heathy love of Oreo cookies.

This is really fascinating, and I admire this man for using his fortune to explore how medical and physical sciences may be able to help us combat real conditions that are very painful. Of course he is living an extreme lifestyle that isn’t going to work for anyone other than himself. But some side benefits may come along that will be of great benefit to people suffering from particular illnesses.

He is doing this as a project to see what works and what doesn’t and spending the money so we don’t have to. The one thing I learned on my journey is I needed far lass than the 50 pills so he can stop with most of that as long as he’s eating vegetables all day long. Nothing is going to be healthier than the source of the vitamins which is vegetables. I really enjoyed this. I would also say that he needs to focus on socializing because it has to do with longevity but I just heard him say he’s having more fun than ever before so he’s doing it. I hope he reduces his daily plan by 20% and enjoy life 20% more so he reaps the reward of his sacrifices

Fear of dying and of not getting "everything" out of life is the problem. If we realized that we are spiritual beings that are here for spiritual growth, people might understand one another and moreover, help one another rather than fighting. If we don't learn why we came here (the lessons we needed to learn) we will have to come back to learn them in a different life.

The first guy that talked about Brian and called him a snake oil salesman really doesn't have much of a clue to be honest. Looks like an old guy that doesn't look at new things. He said that the majority of people could just eat a good diet and get all of their nutrients, what's the definition of a good diet? Look at the average American diet, Most people don't think they're eating "that bad " and so when you tell people to eat a normal good diet they don't even know what you're talking about! People are not taught in schools what is proper and well-balanced nutrition, and food companies have been the ones to "educate us quote on what is good food or what is bad food and many of their claims in research are lies. If every single person in the world started living like Brian but maybe not to the extreme he is living then we would all be a lot healthier and we would live longer

I have never heard of Bryan Johnson before but I found this interview very interesting. Oddly enough, I live a similar life style based on my own research (and no, I am not a millionaire) and my biological age is more than 10 years less than my actual age. Best compliment is when people 10 years younger than me say, "Wait till you get my age..." I'm in the best shape of my life, and I think all the guests except for Gary Brecka are just jealous...
