@@universalcitizen7544 they carry disease in Australia and kill lambs and native animals. They also destroy pasture by rooting up the ground. They breed so prolificly you have to kill 60 percent a year just to keep numbers stable.

Waller Whittemore you would be surprised mate. That is how a lot of us shooters here in Australia roll 😉👌🏽👍🏽. I get a little frustrated with some of the KZfaq content that I watch on other channels with people complaining how invasive and destructive they are, but they just let them run off while they are standing there armed but not ready to roll 🤯🤯. Stu is a legend in my household. His type of pig shooting is just like what I do. Gets the blood pumping 😊😉👌🏽👍🏽🇦🇺🇦🇺!

Pest control mate. Unfortunately they carry diseases in this area mate so we leave them to other pigs, foxes, cats etc that clean up the carcasses very quickly.

Cannot believe the level of Noogoora Burr infestation in one of these clips. As children we spent a lot of our school holidays on the uncle's property and spent many days walking the creek banks and hand pulling noogoora burr plants, hands would be stained green for weeks afterwards.

I have 3 x firearms mate, a Ruger M77 MKII 30/06 bolt action, a Winchester Model 94 30/30 lever action and an A110 Adler 12ga shotgun also lever action. I do have a clip showing my firearms go check it out mate.

Hi Stu, When you are spread out with your mates in the bush and shooting hogs, how do you make sure you are not shooting towards your mate? Do you have a system in place? Interested to know as I have not hunted before. Thanks for keeping Australian hog numbers in check :)

Thanks mate yes we do have a system when we are close like keeping the sun on the right shoulder and only shooting forward. However, in a lot of circumstances we are so far away from each other like many klms so it doesn't matter.

Stu What Bullets do you like to load in that Ruger ? It looks like a 30.06? The Burris scope is that a 4x or 6x fixed power? You are pretty bloody handy with that 30.06.

Thanks mate yes it is a Burris fullfiel II 3 to 9 mate. I reload just over minimum load and prefer a well constructed 150gn projectile mate.

I've just come in from the ranch after a morning of pig & coyote hunting (cattle are calving...too many coyotes taking too many calves), and am about to put my own 30-06 away. No luck today: there is always next time! I'm jealous of your set-up: picking off porkers while on a walkabout! Our hogs have gone 100% nocturnal: daylight hunting pressure has forced them into it. They are wary and burrow deep into the landscape during the day. They are elusive and intelligent. Night vision or green light is the only option for us now. I started today's hunt at 2:55 am.

Don't cha have hog problems in the south, Texas, Florida, Alabama, Georgia...etc? I've seen lots of vids of them tearing up the ranchers farms and such. Lots of youtubers posted up vids. Those little buggers have even made their way up to Canada in Manitoba, tearing up the land. They're a tough bunch, cause Manitoba, Saskatchewan gets some cold winters.

Great on the run shooting. Can you have pump action or straight pull rifles in Aussie? Are there mag restrictions on bolt actions over there? Cheers for the uploads from across the ditch.

Another great video of whacking n stacking them! I have always wondered how many rounds do you go through in an outing? And do you reload? Seems like you try to keep your brass when you can, so I would assume you do. Keep the videos coming.
