Momentum. If he sat back and let Serral turn his income advantage into an army advantage, and then still traded better repeatedly, that could be said to be a sign of imbalance. However since he kept hitting nice timings and taking brilliantly positioned fights before Serral could build an army advantage, he was able to take really good fights at the cost of neglecting his own income.

I appreciate the response, I just don't see what you are seeing. Byun was all in on 2 bases until 10 minutes, and his attacks were all getting swatted down by Serral only losing zerglings and a few queens. He had some good trades at the very start, got a lot of queens and zerglings, but then repeatedly got swat down by roach ravager bane. Byun had his unsieged army flanked in mid because he was not watching it (unfortunately serral did not micro banelings and they all hit the tanks instead of bio). Serral did everything right, he made the right units to counter, he made infestors and got good fungals, he did lots of eco damage to Byun, he took decent engagements all game. Perhaps it is that map in particular which is heavily T favored, it just seemed like it was not physically possible for Serral to do anything there.@@PiGCasts
