A ride on the Smokey Mountain Alpine Coaster, Thr ride is over 1 mile long and is one of the Longest Alpine Coasters in the United States.
The coaster is located in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg Tennessee. Safe and fun for most ages and families.

Just wanna say thank you. No annoying music, no over the top commentary, no promotion for some stupid game. Just straight video with all the natural sounds and a first person view 👍 Bet this would be nice thru a vr headset.

@@garybell6919 I forgot but it’s a windy trip down. I can’t recall top speed but you have a hand brAke to use as your coaster for desired speed.

@@pepsiman4282 at the 4:15 mark when I rode it, once pass that wooden fence, I cannot explain how peaceful it was, it was so quiet, a long gap between you and the other cart, just you.

The Rocky top is longer taking 9 minutes to complete, where as the alpine is around 7-8

yes I went there the other weekend but you can’t stop do to the other people behind you! One thing is depending on the people in front of you it can ruin your experience

Yes it does, it has a brake. When you go on the turns, it increases speed so that would be a good time to use it.

Imagine if that cable snapped right as you were almost to the peak, and you instantly started rolling backwards at full speed, except now you arent secured to the track so at the first hint of a curve you derail and fly off the mountain and catch a sharp tree branch thru the torso.
