If at first you don't succeed.. Try harder!! This is what come to mind on this outing.
Days like the one you will see on this video happen more often than you might think. Turning up to a field, setting up and shooting a lot of birds gets harder this time of year when there is more food available to them. It is certainly not all 'Red Letter' days! 😂 However, as the saying goes.."You've got to be in it to win it".
What the video will show you is that you should never give in! 👍
The morning just didn't go to plan..
There were so many birds about but they were so unsure about the hide, I had to make a change.
In the afternoon I made the decision to make a move on to a flight line on the other side of the field and got myself into some action!
It turned out to be a nice day out, despite the weather being pretty horrible.
I talk through what I did on the day and the decisions I made to get in to some birds, so I hope you enjoy it.
