The 1st day of our adventure is here, and boy was it a blast! I started our adventure at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween party and it was awesome! The Magic Kingdom was decoded perfectly for halloween and I had the opportunity to meet some amazing characters, try some MNSSHP specific desserts and ride some rides with special overlays.

I really like the refurbished rooms. I haven't gotten a chance to stay in one yet, but I can't wait to in a few months. And I love the ability to unlock room doors with phones, we usually have two rooms when we travel with Grandma, and usually I just give her one of my old Magic Bands when we travel so she can get into our room with the kid, but now she can just use her phone to do it.

Omg I ordered that same Starbucks drink the other day for the first time (the peach citrus tea) So good but I wish it was just a teeny bit sweeter. That’s so crazy the line for Pirates. Mark and I literally walked on during our party but it was during the first parade. We got to chat for several minutes with the first pirate and then we saw Gunpowder Pete also and had a {short} conversation with him.

We were at California grill during the thunder/lighting on the 10th- I watched the fireworks inside with the music streamed- was worth our $60 dessert for 4- I was so happy for that reservation

Great vlog! I love travel days and that party looked pretty successful. Your costume looked perfect also. Comfortable, not too warm and easy to get ready. I have not done MNSSHP yet but going next year with my son. Trying to figure out how to see the most and not waste a ton of time waiting in spots. How far ahead of the second parade did you get that spot? Looked like a great place for it.

I couldn't finish my candy corn milkshake, either!! It was SOOO good but huge and really filling! Your Jedi costume looked GREAT!! The 180 degree fireworks during Hallowishes was the absolute coolest, it's now officially my favorite fireworks just because of that...even though the rendition of Poor Unfortunate Souls is.....interesting.
