Our Kunekune piglets have all started eating solid food! Usually around 2-3 weeks they will venture out of the farrowing pen while moms are eating and learn to eat solid food. They will still need to be with moms till 8 weeks but it is always nice to see them starting to eat solid food.
The farm has slowed down for the winter and we are going through less feed which also means less trips to the feed store and less expenses on the farm. Although things have slowed down animals and chores still need to be done twice a day. Follow along today to see what needs to be done during evening chores!
