There one statistic I have noticed about sonix grand finals it’s that most of them he lost was from losers side except for the luminosity invitational where he lost from winners side which is a statistic of 2024 I don’t hear some people talk about.

I just think ShinyMark's best asset is his reaction time and speed. Yes, he can do loops, yes combos. But ESAM has the best strings and flow charts. I have not seen Mark reach that level yet.

In terms of combos, ESAM probably has the edge, but it's not his reaction speed that makes ShinyMark so good. He's just extremely, extremely disciplined with his play. It's a massive asset in the current meta where defensive play is so powerful, and as such, every mistake you make can lose you huge amounts of ground.
