Piloting the Q-400 around the Beautiful Azores Islands

Күн бұрынJustPlanes spent a week filming flights in the Cockpit of SATA Air Azores. On the Airbus A310-300 the route to Boston was filmed. For the Airbus A320 it was Frankfurt and then comes the Dash 8 where flights went to Flores, Horta, Ponta Delgada, Sao Jorge and Terceira.
The complete program available as a DVD Download is being released as an HD Download and Streaming today and is nearly 5 hours long!

The smaller airlines make up a very important part of our Cockpit series because they allow us to fly into places only they service and we could not otherwise bring to you, Sata is one of those and I hope you enjoy this film!

So true. I was just re-watching the Air Iceland Q400 video. Amazing scenery and more like civilian aviation with the smaller equipment and multiple take offs and landings every day. I love the long-haul stuff also but it's nice to mix it up and, you guys offer it all.

Those pilots have their work cutout for them during days of challenging weather. Nevertheless they are lucky to have such a nice job in such a beautiful setting. Q400: the right workhorse with its speed and mission capabilities.

Had some flights with Sata and it's the best way to visit all the islands. There are 9 of them. Still 3 to go..

I’m more of a GA fan but I certainly enjoy anything to do with flying. These videos are very good except I wish just for once we’d see a completed landing instead of cutting to another scene, it’s frustrating.
