Thank you for sharing been seeing this style of heart on Facebook but I need a pattern to follow because I get interrupted when I have a project going, family wonts me to a project now together , stop and starting is hard when I come back months later to the perfect. Enjoyed your explanation very clear and to the point.

I know this is a few months old, but I just came across your channel. I’m new to quilting and I’m not really interested in making a full quilt. (I have a ton of them from my family.) I do want to make table runners and other small projects, though. This is right up my alley. I seem to prefer the small pieces. 🙂 Looking forward to watching more of your videos.

How did you keep your perfect V-point at the heart bottom? Your HST looked like your fabric contrast line went diagonal corner to corner (mine does this too) but when you sewed the row together I saw 1/4 inch of “extra” at the bottom which is what I need. My heart bottoms end up U-shaped, not V-shaped. Tips?

Well, when you sew the two hst at the bottom of the heart together side to side, when that seam allowance creates that extra at the bottom. Are you sewing columns first or rows first? I sew the horizontal rows first and then sew them all together. But either way, you should end up with the nice point!

This is soooo cute but so tiny. I still want to try this though. Pillows would be cute but I might make eventually a larger quilt and mix it with some other blocks so I'm not making all hearts cuz I don't see that ever happening 🤣

Hi good day I'm from South Africa I want to make a baby quilt with this heart block. How to I sew the blocks together? With sashing or can I just join the blocks together? Please advise. Thank you

I think if I were making a quilt of heart blocks, I would add sashing between the blocks and maybe squares of fabrics from the heart in the corners :)
