PINEAPPLE CASSEROLE
20 ounce can Pineapple chunks in 100% juice, Drained, reserve juice
20 ounce can Crushed Pineapple, drained, reserve juice
1/3 cup All Purpose Flour
1/4 cup White Sugar
1/4 cup Brown Sugar
2 cups grated Sharp Cheddar
In a large bowl stir all the above ingredients together and pour into a greased baking dish about 10 x 10 inches
TOPPING: 1 Sleeve Ritz Crackers, crushed
1/4 cup (4 tablespoons) Butter, melted
1/4 cup of the reserved Pineapple Juice
Melt the butter in a small pan. Stir in the pineapple juice then the crushed crackers. Sprinkle on top of the pineapple mixture in the casserole dish.
Bake at 350 degrees F for uncovered for 30 minutes.
This dish is very good with a baked ham. You can also use the rest of the drained juice to make a glaze for the ham. Or drink it like John does😊
