Thank you Robbie! Ha ha, I actually thought about letting them paint the lines but I was in a hurry at that point and just wanted to move on in the day so I did it myself instead of "organizing" the "crew". Brett

What kind of ink did you use to paint the table and the white marks?
@GreenArrows07059 жыл бұрын
Vinícius Trevisan I used regular exterior latex paint because that is what I had. You could make it any color combination you like with the paint that you may already have. Thanks for watching and commenting! Brett

Will it matter if I do not cut it in half
@GreenArrows07058 жыл бұрын
+Noah Locastro No, it shouldn't matter. I did it to make the pieces easier to handle and to store. You could leave it in one piece if you like but the smaller pieces make it nice for one person to set up and take down.

@jibinjacob898 жыл бұрын
what is the size of the table . 8 x 4 ft ??
@GreenArrows07058 жыл бұрын
Yes, it's a standard sheet of MDF that measures 4'X8'. I know it's not a standard size for a table tennis table. We don't mind. Thanks for watching! Cheers, Brett
@jibinjacob898 жыл бұрын
GreenArrows0705 thank u sir for the reply.. .. What is ur opinion about using laminated MDF. We can save the painting job right ?? Will it affect the bounce?
@GreenArrows07058 жыл бұрын
Honestly, I have no idea! That is getting more technical than have thought about. This was for the kids to have some fun playing on. It's far from being a "real" ping pong table. We played a lot of ping pong this past summer and it has worked well for our needs but compared to a table made by a table tennis mfr. I have no idea how it stacks up. We keep ours out of the weather (under a carport) and we put it away in the wet months since we don't get out outside to play on it. If you plan on keeping it indoors, you could skip the paint job but it's nice to have the solid color and lines for better visibility of the ball in play.

GreenArrows0705 thanks again for the reply. Cheers from India

that is not how you play ping pong! but good job at making it though! it must've tooken like 3 or 4 days to finish it maybe?
@GreenArrows07059 жыл бұрын
Thank you! It maybe took 3-4 hours total time to make it. If I remember correctly, we cut and painted the base coat the first afternoon and then painted the stripes the next morning. We played on it a lot this summer! Cheers, Brett
