It’s disappointing when medium like Coke Studio doesn't give proper credit to the original creator of the song. You Know the bengali portion "Amar kangkher koloshi" was written and composed by Akhil Thakur in Netrokona, Bangladesh. Though this song was very popular by Ukil Munshi also from Netrokona. you know people deserve to know the original creator behind the masterpiece song. why are you so reluctant to give artists proper credit?

And that is the whole point of Coke Studio, to break free from the shackles of Bollywood. Even though i'm from across the border I so badly want to see Coke Studio India succeed, so you can be true to your musical roots once again.

Great observation. You are right. Musical Instruments should not overshadow the lyrics. But here Shantanu has taken care that when singers are singing the sounds of instruments are kept at minimum.
