10:33 Polly's got some skills! And its Storm Thorgerson at 12:00 Its good to see Dave and Rick being silly. When I see them in videos they're shy and serious. RIP Rick, we all miss you! Is it just me or was Nick in a really bad mood whenever he was filmed? I haven't really noticed until this video, but everyone behind the scenes that make these amazing shows never get enough credit for what they do. But it sure does look like they have tons of fun. I wish I had a time machine to go to one of those shows

Michael Torres I meant most impressive tour in the history of Rock in general! Live in Gdansk I saw him several times, if you consider that in 1994 the technology was obsolete compared to 2006 you realize the great effort has been made by all, then I think between 1988 and 1994 was the best of Dave Guitar period.

Richard Wright. Legend!
@lupojacobo98924 жыл бұрын
I agree
@AD-kv9kj4 жыл бұрын
Apparently Wright was a mad sex addict and constantly got caught cheating on his wives. This happened so often that eventually he made another girl pregnant, his then wife walked in on them in bed in his yacht in old tax avoider's Monaco and then he just emotionlessly left his wife (who nearly had a breakdown) for that girl. He then also just walked out on that girl not much later. He got his lawyers to claim he was only worth $200,000 at the time so he didn't have to pay his divorced wife much out of his hundreds of millions. He was also a big coke-head even into old age. Unfortunately he sounded like a massive lying and slimy douchebag to me. Seems like the more you learn about the individuals who made up Floyd, they all come across as weirdos and assholes.

Willhem Meyenberg I was at their Division Bell tour when it came to Houston at Rice Stadium. It was an outdoor venue at nighttime. About halfway thru the show a front came thru first with a gentile mist or light rain shower. The green, red and yellow lasers appeared to freeze the raindrops in front of you. The storm intensified to the point they had to stop the show at least 45 minutes early. Gilmour announced in his proper English accent “I’m afraid we have to concede to the elements “.

I once had the opportunity to spend some time with Kerry Livgren, from the American group, Kansas. I had been in a rock band for several years myself. We were not famous, never cut a record (all most), never toured extensively.....but, the stories and life style of the road are the same. The constant joking, pranks and indulgences are the same. I see that in this video and remember all the moments of fun and excitement, interspersed with sheer boredom and longing for home. These guys just do it on a much bigger scale..........loved it, thank you.😍

@@sea-dawg True Chad. But tell me why I would not think twice about going to see bands like Pink Floyd Genesis The Rolling Stones Led Zeppelin and The Who back in the day? If and when these bands tour now you would get no change out of a thousand pounds for a couple to have a night out at one of these concerts. Most of the people who go to see these top end bands now are just rich people who probably don't even own one of their albums. Maybe I should have worded my comment differently. You have to be rich to see bands like this. Anyway how much you worth that my comment put your back out? And how would you feel if you was priced out of a night out to see Floyd? By bigger fish. There's always people out there with more money to burn. If Pink Floyd ever toured again maybe you could treat me to a pair of tickets.
