Very nice song!
The build up in a couple of places during this song really is suspenseful.
The guitar solo was very nice with the 2 different guitar sounds.
I hope you enjoy the video and please consider subscribing

This performance was from the 'Pulse' DVD and album. The whole concert was magical, amazing music and a fantastic light show. The highlight of this track (for me) was the pedal steel (guitar), nicely bookended by the acoustic.

Pink Floyd is Legendary, I've been a Floyd fan since 1973, when they released their "Dark Side of the Moon" album. How many Rock bands employ a real bell, a giant gong, and three lovely background singers that bring sooo much to the final product! Incredible. I believe Pink Floyd could release their whole catalog of songs today, in 2022, and it would still be relevant, easily!

Fantastic song. One of Pink Floyd's very best. Great album, like the best of those in the 70's.

That lap guitar solo- yeah I get it. I play it over and over. Makes me cry every time. Sometimes when I need to just let it out, I listen to that only. I get ya, brother

I love that you took it back to hear the steel guitar again - it is mesmerizing and haunting; like a lot of Floyd. Also, picking up on and appreciating the backing vocalists - so many reactors seem to overlook them, and they really do add so much! Really enjoyed listening to this with you!

The Division Bell is a great album and they played several songs from it at this concert. Keep Talking, What Do You Want From Me, and Poles Apart are, I think, my favorite songs from that album.

Rather than do the studio version of this which is shorter, why not check out the David Gilmour live in Gdansk version. After the steel guitar solo, he picks up the acoustic and goes on for several more minutes. It is absolutely beautiful. Also there is full strings accompaniment.

Esecuzione fantastica molto fedele all'originale dall'album di studio). Il live PULSE ha sempre meravigliose sorprese . Il top dei concerti dei Pink Floyd.

Tutto l'album "The Division Bell" è bellissimo.

the ring of the division bell is what happens when Parliament convenes and the bell has rung. Which then starts the debate or arguing on both sides . hence; the band and Roger arguing the direction the band was going.

14 days in a row sold out concert. 200 ton stage, 53 semi's to move, 200,000 watts of power ,128 wireless speakers. few fireworks. Not a bad song on this. There is a studio version on dvd at Abbey Road Studio. Checkout some of Daves solo work. No BIG light show but some of his best guitar work. "live at Gdansk" "take a breathe" " on an Island" last time he plays"echoes" do to Rick passing. "live at Pompeii" " in any tongue" rattle that lock" last time he plays " comfortably numb" ( 125 + views) sold 125 of his guitars including "the black strat" for $3.9 million without his Jimi Hendrix guitar strap XXXX
