That was absolutely amazing, the phrasing, the use of the pickups and bigsby. I was at Guitar Center today looking and playing on one of those Broadkasters. Loved it so much I had to come home and look at some youtubes. Yours did not disappoint - that was a 10+

I just bought one of those. I can't play it like you, but you inspire with possibilities. Different from Gilmour's strat tone, but dang, you add a nice Gretsch version. Thx.

I feel a new guitar acquisition coming on. I saw David Gilmore playing a Gretsch Duo Jet. I was like, "Wow!! He's a Strat guy!" But that Gretsch sounded like a Strat, only on Steroids!! I played one a few years back, and fell in love. The sound, feel, everything. Fast forward a few years, and it feels like guitar season. So I'm looking awfully hard at the Gibson ES-335, the Gretsch Duo Jet, but also this BroadKaster. My style crosses from the cleanest of jazz lines, to throaty blues voicings and of course the growling blues you demonstrate here. I can even go a little nastier. Tough choice between the three, but thank you for your time and attention. Very enjoyable performance. Your playing is tasteful, and the guitar is killer!!

Sounds as good as Dave's black fender

I prefer full sized hollow body Gretch guitars, like versions of the 6120 Chet Atkins helped design. The timbre is wrong for this song, either single coils or maybe P-90's for this tune?

The beauty of covers is that I can make them the way I want not trying to recreate the original. Take care 😉

@@stroikstroik This is every bit as good as the original. Maybe even better because you made it your own. Who wants to hear another anemic and unoriginal attempt at copying the original? Well done sir.
