If you listen into Roger's bass, he does an amazing job....listen to this so many times thinking one of there best, love the raw edge

This recording is without a doubt my favorite of all Pink Floyd's songs. I especially love the bass, but also the rawness of the recording (live) and not least the way the song is sung - energetically young, angry, but also sensitive. It is clearly the 70's and the atmosphere in the song corresponding in a good way. Pink Floyd has been among my favorite bands for over 40 years and songs like this unfortunately show just how short we have come during all these years. They were definitely better in the past and it is a real pleasure to listen to this old gem.

It only took me 45 years to hear this gem but well worth it. A song like this will never get old

What a version .. great arrangement , splendid voice from Roger at the end .. Dave was amazing as always .. Rick deep keyboards sounds made the whole song very nostalgic .. While Nick was flowering with his drums techniques. GOTTA BE CRAZY NOT TO LOVE IT!!

Animals is my most favorite Pink Floyd album and Dogs is my favorite track. I have never heard this version of the song and I must say that I am blown away and I love it! Thank you for posting this for us. #PinkFloydForever :-)

I actually discovered Dogs through this version and this specific video years ago and I've not grown tired of it ! Still as mesmerising as always, and it holds a special place in my heart

I saw Pink Floyd twice in April 1975 in Los Angeles. They played as yet unreleased Wish You Were Here highlights, DSOTM highlights, unreleased Animals highlights with a long encore of Echoes. Utterly amazing, I still listen to them every day.

This is the first time i have found a recording of "You've got to be crazy". This makes me unnaturally happy. :-) Depending on the mood I am in, if you asked me which was my favourite Floyd song, it would usually be Dogs. I wish they had done a studio version of this as well.

I love love love the Animals album and especially Dogs but this version of Dogs is absolutely incredible. I wish I could have been a fly on the wall when you created this - amazing! Thank you.

amazing in all the aspects

I had this Vinyl Bootleg when it was first released, it was recorded at Stafford Bingley Hall, and the Quality was SO good at the time a LOT of people thought it was a genuine Pink Floyd live album......Also had Shine On and Raving and Drooling on it, and was called Tour 74......Great to hear it again I must admit........BTW......There was also a shortened version of this track and the other ones I mentioned on another bootleg titled Tour 74, and I seem to remember all the tracks were faded out before the ends.....

It's phenomenal! I almost like it more than "Dogs". Note that this was played in standard tuning. They dropped it to D in 1975, as on the album version ;)

Do you have "Raving and Drooling" !? Original version of "Sheep". Saw the show in '75 in Seattle (and have horrible recording of it).

Roger plays the bass the same way a drummer uses little "Fills" while they play. Just keep the beat & add a little "flare" when ya need too. Great early version of "Dogs"❤️ "Pink Floyd" = The Rock & Roll "psychiatrists"

Very good and super interesting for a Floyd connoisseur{ 65→79 releases} i know that there was a lot of arguing about what went onto "Wish you were here", RW won, with Shine on being at the start and end. In my opinion "Wish you were here" and "Animals" are better in a lot of ways than the Wall and Dark Side. Pre-Dark Side has tons of interesting stuff, ,.... There's 2 of the film soundtrack albums were you can here bits of ideas and motifs that appeared in the bigger albums of later Floyd... the big sellers of 1973, 1975, 1977, 1979 ( i don't care much for any Floyd after The Wall,except maybe the Division Bell occasionally) Movie→La Vallee .. album →"Obscured by Clouds" Movie→More..... album →"More" i always listen to those back to back fore some reason, ...and Since I noticed it was the 40th anniversary of Animals early this year, I seem to have an enormous appetite for all variations and recordings. There's tons of interesting stuff and not enough time.... This one is so embryonic it requires multiple listens. I became a Fan very young , my first album was Relics, [I was just in double figures when Dark Side was released, and wasn't quite a teenager when I bought 'Wish You were here'].... nearly saw them Live in the late 70s, but circumstances stopped me several times, finally got to see them perform The Wall at Earls Court in 1981,{ which was June or July?? I know it was the very last time they all performed together in that millennium} ... with puppets and Scarf's animations ;~) in Hampshire
