You could also use food boxes to make things with so you cut down on spending on cardstock. Nice and extremely beautiful work nonetheless. ❤️

I just LOVE these Stacey!! I was just thinking...(dangerous, I know) if one had a large card stock collection, that isn't white core, or even just black card stock, your could avoid the painting the holes. I wouldn't mind painting edges, i would just find the holes in the butterflies tedious..... but I have no patience...as I spend hours coloring an abstract design I spent hours drawing...huh...that doesn't add up.

yes you can use utee (ultra thick embossing enamel) on the outside layer
