Slinky was climbing to your left arm because that is the arm you had her in to bring her to him. He could smell that she was once there.

Shoulda kept that divider in that enclosure and kept pinky on the other side so she’d be used to him and his smell and seeing him. Maybe something to think about trying in the future

Slinks is gonna need a big momma to handle that love machine. Pinky just looks like she feels like she's being fed to a dragon. Probably best she socializes with someone close to her size first time at least.

Pinky could easily kill slinky if she really wanted to, a male as small as pinky would be an almost guaranteed death sentence for him. females don't get much larger than pink either

I think its funny that every comment of concern for pinky here, he addresses in the video 🤣 just gotta watch the video. He says he needs a bigger female like 6 times. Aside from that comment about maybe seeing a doc about the dizziness. Also I love the *head shakes*, pinky runs away and slinky like "hey wait no come back I wasn't done!"

Watching Slinky go into beast mode is fascinating, but I also understand little Pinky being like, "Oh, HELL no!" I mean seriously.... he's fricking huge compared to her! Get that boy a big girl that can handle all that studleyness! Any woman will tell you, that there IS such a thing as too big!

Poor Slinky, he's trying so hard to impress Pinky with his manly prowess. And she is soooooo not impressed. But you never know, maybe she will one day see how much of a handsome specimen of lizardy manliness is the Slinkster. They would make some awesome little baby monitors for sure. But he is a little bit bigger than she is so that could be why she's so hesitant. Maybe one day when she is larger. 👍💯✌🇨🇦🐢🦎🐊🐍🐕

I know you want to use Slinky’s awesome enclosure as much as possible but have you considered introducing them in Pinky’s enclosure where she is more comfortable??

thats gonna create a bigger chance for her to attack him. because she would be defending her turf. he clearly does not see her as a threat. but if she does with him and cant get away bacause its a much smaller space. she could end up killing him. sounds suprising but it happens more often than most think. even if the males are so much bigger

Maybe you need to feed Pinky more and get her bigger to mate next year? It seems like Slinky gets bigger and she stays small. She is like 25% of his size.

That’s a good idea. Take them to Jerry’s or build an enclosure with a divider like he has for breeding! Just to acknowledge I don’t know shit about it but it sounds logical. Happy Father’s Day Kenan and all you guys!!

Yup, time to borrow a big girl from Jerry. As awesome as it would be for a Slink/Pink combo to join the camp it just feels like his size is too much for her. But I know all fans of this channel would just be ecstatic to have Slinky babies running around!

I thought an expert suggested that you put Slinky into Pinky's cage the last time you tried to put them together. They said she would be not as afraid.

I agree you need a big female for Slinky. I do not realize how big Slinky is till he is next to Pinky. Maybe try putting them both in Pinky’s enclosure and see if she is a little more comfortable there.

Great video! We've seen evidence of Slinky digging before, but I think this is the first I've ever known to see him doing the digging. Quite interesting to see how they interact, and how Slinky tries to figure out the ways he can achieve what he wants to do.

I think the problem with that is that Pinky's enclosure is too small for Slinky. It could be small enough to constitute Animal abuse, not to mention Pinky wouldn't have anywhere to run to if she don't want Slinky.

Her place isn’t big enough for that. He needs to split the enclosure like it was intended before and put her on the side he originally meant for the iguanas so she’d be used to him and not associate fear with slinky

Yes. Please get Slinky a bigger female. I'm not even sure they COULD mate. It looked a bit... Slinky sized instead of Pinky sized. As much as I'd like the two of them to parent a clutch, I think you should give Jerry a call and do some switch ups. Best of luck with breeding!

This is, what, your 3rd or 4th year trying to bred them? Unfortunately, I think getting Slinky and Pinky to breed won't work. You might have to hit up Jerry for mates for your guy and gal here.

ON one hand I thought Kenan would put Slinky into Pinky's enclosure so she would be in her own domains, on the other Slinky's enclosure is bigger so she has more opportunities to run and hide. This is a difficult match, she is so not interested in having some jungle love...

You should build a cage inside his. So they can see each other and get use to each other. That would be your best bet. They can smell each other and adapt to each other slowly.

I think you need to try a different approach. I would keep them separate to target feed, give her all the food she will eat every day, then when she goes off food for a few days you will know she is cycling and introduce them then. Best of luck.

😳 That was one of the strangest things I have EVER SEEN on any animal in my life!! I'm a fan of all the BLADE movies with Wesley Snipes, one of them has a more modern and scarier vampires. The vampire don't just have your average vampire fangs... oh no..The whole lower half of their faces opened up and you see this horrific collection of flesh and fangs and it just is so crazy cool to see. That is EXACTLY what Skinky's Hemipene looked like. It was ummm...... well... Damn.. Oh man!!! I had no idea what that ever looked like... and now I think I'm going to need therapy to UN-SEE that! Thanks Kenan! I will never look at a male monitor lizard ever again! ... it looks like it really hurts! I mean how does..... how can.... where is???.. oh forget it. New topic. Pinky is SOOO MUCH SMALLER than Slinky. Won't that thing hurt her? Well....I guess not. If it's OK with Kenan it's gotta be OK.... right?😬😒

Probably because Kennan first and foremost really wants babies between these two (because that would be awesome) and I'm guessing Jerry has had breeding plans for his females as well.

I feel like a nice sized female will work better for Slinky, Pinky I just think it's cause she's small But I do remember hearing Pinky was paired with a larger male before successfully. Maybe Slinky just isn't her type and like you said she isn't very impressed. I think a smaller male will be good for her, maybe if you get a smaller male, introduce him to her enclosure where she feels safer. If I recall usually placing the male into the female's enclosure works better than the opposite way.

Kenan, I am concerned about your dizziness. I hope you have seen a doctor about it. It seems like every or every other video you are getting dizzy. Please take it seriously. You are loved and very needed by both your family, your animals, your friends and by those of us that follow you. You very well may need medication to keep your blood pressure up. You should have your blood pressure monitored when laying, sitting, and standing. You could also be anemic. Long term, low b/p or anemia can cause damage to your heart, brain, and/or your kidneys. I worry because I am a disabled RN and have seen the effects of long term anemia and/or low b/p.

Agree 100%! Particularly with all the riding he's been doing, I think he's hypoglycemic, and most likely dehydrated. Kenan, go see your Dr.! You never hesitate to get your animals in to he checked, it's your turn!

Also it could be long Covid or some severe Covid after effects. Seriously get it looked into.
