I'm gonna tear your playhouse down. oh baby that bass line the octave effect on the fretless bass to get that weird greasy 80s synth bass tone totally reminds me of how bassists emulate the sound of an 808 with an octave pedal nowadays. except yknow Pino was doing it 30+ years ago. man has contributed so much for so long, 100% a living legend.

His pickup measure to Go West's "Don't Look Down" is the synth pop equivalent to Mike Clark's snare/hihat pickup to Herbie's "Actual Proof"

Brian, I don't know how this can be real but the fact that I found your channel some time ago gives me so much happiness and motivation. !!! This is maybe my all-time favorite Pino line! I’m guessing he got writer credit for that- it makes the song. I love to play along with it on bass clarinet.

I'm confused by the quarter note to half note triplet you have written out for the Just Wrong bass line. Wouldn't it need to be a quarter note to dotted quarter/eighth tied to a quarter? Great video btw.
