David, this makes installing VPX, your fantastic front-end and all the necessities a real breeze, no fiddling with parameterfiles anymore. Just your baller installer and tada ... a fully working virtual pinball machine in less than 10 minutes (on my machine). Three deep bows (with my nose touching the ground) and a lot of cheers for all the hard work on the Pinup System!

This seriously makes me want to cry! I just finished setting up my cab and getting everything working properly about two weeks ago. After working on it for about a month and a half I muscled through about every problem you could possibly have. The tutorials and forums were a big help. I recently set up a gaming computer with an i5-12400 and 1660 super. Today I followed all the steps from this video and successfully set up all three monitors with the "Baller Installer". A 40" 1080p Samsung TV, 26" 720 Samsung TV (backglass) and a 14" Dell computer monitor for the virtual DMD. I plan to follow your other videos to figure out how to add in at least a few 90's DMD games to VPX. I plan to make a cab that has a real homebrew Solid State pinball machine of my making , this will use the 26" screen for videos and scoring and the ability to manual place and hook up the 40" screen on the cab for the virtual experience.

Good to see this is being streamlined more and more for ease of access. I remember when configuring MAME with front ends was a chore. Now it's basically downloading and moving a file. Going to try this out in a few months i hope. ALP arrives tomorrow, PC has to wait.

This is awesome. It's implied at 6:00 that anti-virus should be off. It's worth noting that reboots may turn Defender back on after you set your screens set right. The rebooting for me turning Windows Defender back on.

Author skipping over details assuming everybody has a certain level of knowledge, a lot of his instructions are going straight over my head, i dare say for many this is childs play, unfortunately i fall into the "computer thicko" category.

I picked up a drive that has the pinup-popper baller installer. I purchased it from retro lizards arcades. I love this drive it has so many awesome tables. My question is on my set up I have an NFL Buffalo Bills table but I would like to see a NY JETS themed table instead. Is there away to change the NFL teams for this table? Where can I find the settings/config file to adjust the Playfield resolution to 1440p (Only 1080p/4k available during setup)

This is all awesome but is it out yet? Where is the download information? Where can I download it from?

After going through the setup, all of my tables AND frontend are 270 degrees instead of 90. (Probably a bad decision made somewhere along the way) Is there a way to go back and config this? Not sure if this is a global setting somewhere or if I need to deal with things one by one.

This looks absolutely great. The only thing though that is a huge downfall is that it doesn't support 1440p resolutions according to the installer? There are quite a few people that are using 1440p 144hz monitors for virtual pinball. Is this functionality going to be added to the Baller Installer? Without it I feel like this is not going to be an option for a lot of people.

Baller was amazing on my desktop computer (single screen). I messed something up when I then went to use baller on my pinball cab (3 screens)- vpx was perfect but Future was completely messed up. I’m sure it was something I did. Will give it another go.

The part about having all of your hardware hooked up… If I am planning on doing a two screen set up, but I want to test on two different screens from the ones I am ultimately going to go with, would that still work? Would I just be able to re-run the ball or installer and it was just over right the things that changed but keep everything else the same?

New to pinup popper and was setting up joytokey but having a small issue but have no clue to resolve it. When scrolling through games tables list in vpx , left flipper scrolls through list. If I hit right flipper it automatically kicks me out of vpx table list and back to main lepprechaun table. I have no clue why? Only way to scroll right in the game list is by right shift key on keyboard. Makes no sense. Also I wish in set up i could figure how to set up nudge buttons in popper. I am using ALP. Thanks for the videos, so much to learn.

With Pinup Popper, how do I change my Default Launcher for VPX to 10.8 ? I know how to make an ALT-Launch for a particular table to 10.8, but I want 10.8 to be the default. How do I do that?

How to add a 3rd monitor to Future Pinball? I had no problem moving the dmd and changing the bg on vpx, but fp is a mystery. I set up with baller installer but only had two screens at the time.

This is great but now needs to be updated at the latest VPX is far less buggy.

Nothing but problems with this. Had my machine running beautiful after manually installing everything until windows did an update and screwed it all up. Wiped my hard drive, and attempted baller installer this time but man I'm really struggling to get everything working right. It's a simple 3 monitor cabinet setup. Going to re-wipe and do it manually again.

So I'm doing all this stuff on the actual pinball correct? Not on a single monitor like this video shows?

I’ve seen it happen but can’t find the settings for it. 2. What exactly does the section in the set up does “keep PUPs display ON” mean/do?

Does A allow for different positioned DMD ? I use 2 screen's with Freezy's DMD2TXT overlaid on the 2nd screen positioned nicely, for each blackglass if required, You must allow Regedit to position the dmd different for those backglasses, Yeah it's the hard way,

If things get messed up can you run the installer again or do you need to remove everything first? I have an issue where FlexDMD is not working for UltraDMD tables despite having all four green checks in the FlexDMD UI.

Need help or suggestion please.. my dilemma is I built a arcade cab with a desktop screen scenario with a full DMD and a back glass( a stand up 2 player cab with 3 screens)...I tried the 3 screen setup and then tried to use the desktop orientation wheel setup so I could view the words properly but didn't work ...is there any solution that can be suggested for this?

23:04 Not all BackGlass Images have the DMD positioned in the same spot or size, so on a 2 screen setup is not positioned right for that backglass screen, so with Stop Test is that done on every table ?

One issue I have with Baller Installer is when I use TEST DMD an error always pops up: REMOTE PROCEDURE CALL FAILED. I don't get the sample PINUP POPPER graphic to position correctly within the window. This has happened after two clean Windows 11 installs.

Can the baller installer be used with a drive that only has FX3 installed - or do I need to remove it and re install it? Thank you.

This is a great software. I have only one question: is it possible that there is a bug in the baller installer when you only use desktop mode (only one Monitor)? The screens settings will be ignored when you start the frontend. I set up everything by running the config. PF left and BG + FullDMD on the right side of my monitor but when you start the front end every screen is on top of each other. In my cab with 3 monitors everything is fine. and i put this problem in a facebook group and other people have the same problem. Can you help me? thanks Sascha

My b2b server pops up over my pup packs and have to ctr+alt+del to close b2b in or to see my pup packs. Any fix for this? There is no backglass in the tables folded for pup pack games
