i heard a lot of good things about these pioneer aks that there better then the old trash io aks the io ak i bought didn't last 1000k rounds the head spacings on my trunnions warped from the bolt slamming on them over time broke them with there cast pot metal trunnions not being heat treated io' ak 47 made never want to buy a American ak 47 there all trash and they left a bad taste in my mouth

Yes, I believe this is a forged trunnion one. It was very inexpensive for a forged trunnion. I definetly hope it lasts longer than these pot metal ones floating around.
