2ohm 500w is exactly what i was aiming for in my car so this amp fits the bill. Dont like running 1ohm in AZ summer anyway😅

You’re problem is you don’t have enough power to supply it by either wire to small and the voltage is dropping to low . Is the amp rated for 1 olm or 2 olm

LoL. I have plenty of power. I just made a video today with a Stetsom 3K doing close to 4,000 watt's. I have enough power and reserve to do about 6,000 watt's. More than plenty for this amplifier. I have 0 gauge runs of OFC wire, 10 gauge ofc going to the sub and inside the box. I think it's just the amp doesn't like the 1 ohm load. As soon as it hit 1 ohm on the nuts the amp cuts off everytime. 2 ohm test was fine, even dropped below 2 ohm's.

That car radio is no good 👍 it's just dumping a ton of noise into the RCA. 🤔 What is your 12v power supply?

It's a Stetsom infinite 60a power supply. It's only on this sub with this amp. Every other amp I've tried it works insanely nuts with. 4 amp RCA output. There's something going on with the amp.

@@SubzPawz mm🤔... have you tried getting more power out with a higher ohm sub maybe this unit is sensitive to low ohm because of a component inside was probably bad and they used it anyway 🤔 because you said you've gotten a lot more on that same model amp

Oh and amps performance defer from amp to amp like if you buy 4 models they all will give you different amounts of power do to the parts them selves 👍💯

@@11164kloc I have the video on a 2 ohm load. Worked good. I'd like to try something that doesn't drop lower than 1.5 ohms give or take, but doesn't drop to 1 like this was.

For real. This still has be mind boggling. I think it just doesn't like the 1 ohm, which they claim it's stable at. But as soon as it hits 1 ohm it turns off momentarily. Hum. That's why I make these videos, to show the truth. Thanks as always for your comment 😊
