The basics of pipe wrenches - the tools that are used to tighten threaded pipes.
Pipe wrenches are pretty simple in their design but very effective at applying torque to round pipes. Among standard hand tools, there aren't really any substitute tools that can do what they do -- when you need one, you need one.
