This one is from the second and final day of testing organized by Pirelli in order to develop the various compounds for the 2023 Formula 1 season. The first scheduled test was held at Imola Circuit, just a couple of days after the GP weekend.
In order to get more accurate data and results compared to the ones obtained last year with 'mule cars' for the development of 2022 tyres, teams are allowed to use their current, ground-effect F1s this year. During 'Day 2' there were Alfa Romeo with the C42 driven by Robert Kubica and AlphaTauri with the AT03 and Yuki Tsunoda behind the wheel. Alpine was replaced by Ferrari which fielded both factory drivers on their F1-75. Charles Leclerc drove in the morning session while Carlos Sainz in the afternoon. Hope you like it!

When you lay off the zoom, you get a much better idea of the speed through corners, etc. No need to see sponsor decals like on TV. Thanks for another great video! ie, 3:19 and 5:00.

Curious how the eye gets acquainted to seeing these new cars after just a bunch of races, you can clearly see the enormous forces playing during the mass changes in the curves...this cars weight is above LeMans cars of the 2000's...that says it all. Perfect sound as always Bozzyboy...😘

As much as I like the era of NA engines, and the old turbo era, this new gen of F1 cars looks promising. Sadly, I cannot get up early enough here in the US to watch most of the F1 races that broadcast on ESPN or streaming on F1 TV Pro. I do watch the highlights of the races. Not too bad.

I am sure money is always a factor, but I spring for a HD DVR, original live broadcast races still record without commercial. Depending on where you are located, it MIGHT be worth it. For me, it 100% is. There have been some brutally amazing moments during fierce wheel to wheel battles id have missed otherwise. This year, I only managed to see the first race, haven't even seen the recorded other races. A damn uninsured DUI wrecked my OBS k1500, and Ive been feverishly callint insurance or scrambling to file papers and whatnot as this whole dumpster fire gets rolling. At least florida is a no fault state? Would be nice to not have my clean bodied 1998 truck ruined by some classless fecal material dispenser. Sounds like Ferrari is putting up a good fight so far though.

Tires won’t make a difference with porposing. That’s caused by the gain and loss of downforce through the Venturi effect the car uses. Suspension adjustments is mostly how porposing seems to have been solved and Ferrari solved that issue pretty well week during the final week of pre season testing. And by well I mean relative to other teams.

Nice footage. I would love to see more static camera shots. When you move the camera folowing the car it just ruins the sense of speed. Same when you apply lots of zoom.

@@fazeobama8872 Yeah, I was thinking that - they were running the car super low in the race and they weren't sparking here down the straight so it's possible but I hope they've found a solution...

@@TheJoezaidan I don't think that is porpoising - I think those were just bumps in the track surface, although bumps can trigger porpoising. The porpoising in the race was quite violent and it was happening towards the end of the straight, not in the middle.

@@tanthaman well these current engines can sound even better if they remove the fuel flow limit,raising the rev limiter and then removing the mgu-h which they will do in 2026
