Beautiful sports stadium

The fact that the blue crane has such a long reach suggests it's for the cladding along the pitch-side edge of the Anfield Road stand. I reckon they need to lift it all in from the outside to avoid disrupting the pitch re-laying.

I am guessing what is happening at the moment is tilling after the dead turf was lifted, they may recycle the topsoil by putting it through a grader and sifting out debris. Then they will probably disperse that graded till back onto the pitch before the turf is spread and rolled. Giving it a few weeks to root in before it gets lined up.

Bit of cladding still needs done on the top left of the roof on the Annie road I have noticed and it's actually getting on me nerves they haven't finished it now haha. I wonder if the cranes for them to bring sheets of the cladding up onto the roof.

Think the crane maybe lifting in concrete slabs, because now all the red boards are gone you can see a big gap were the old stand meets the new stand. Kev have a closer look tomorrow, you can see lights shining up from below from the new fan zone. Probably being delivered very soon. Only thing I can think of apart from lifting in cladding sheets.

Hi Kevin, glad you got your seats boxed off for the Champions League and League Cup yesterday, I'm back in the Annie Road end for both competitions, not sure why they didn't include the FA Cup as well yesterday, that'll mean another hour at least in the queue on Thursday 😡Not sure what the delay is for the Sevilla tickets but I guess they'll sort it eventually.

For last 3 years Liverpool have relayed the pitch as two years ago they had concerts than last year roof was done they relayed it then so this year they are relaying it also the blue crane could be for finishing cladding

Hi kev thanjs for the update,looking at the crane i think it might be a pump for pumping ready mixed concrete over the stand and to the back of lower Anfield road tier ready for the extra seating to be installed for start of new season dont know what anybody else thinks YNWA

HI Kev Another great video I can see what you mean by the amount of soil being removed but this will be recycled and again laid out on the pitch again ready for the new turf dont forget that area was covered in boards and had no way to breath and people and equipment being on that.again thank you for the update looking forward know to a proper green pitch.

Hell of a lot of soil being lifted off the pitch, I think we’ll having concerts most years to. Auto cup scheme tickets sorted for us to 👊

Hi Kev I am pretty sure the crane is there ready for the delivery of more concrete terracing where the red boards were, not sure if they arrive today or not, also they’ve started to recolour the seats in the lower main stand at long last

Hi Kev nice video, try to find out if there are more seats going in the Kop at the side, I read some where this was happening to take the total number of seats to 61,000.

Looking at the length of the jib on the crane, it looks like there is some work to be done at the front of the stand .

Do you think the blue crane is for the work to the front of the Anfield road stand roof? As pitch access may not be possible now that the pitch is being re-laid.

Any news on the Kenny stand? It will need to be redeveloped sooner rather than later as it looks totally outdated now.

Am I really the only one to have spotted those guys on the Annie Road roof, I was thinking..., and then you put up your "letter of condolence" on the screen for not catching them earlier ie, while filming!!? It could be that, what's being taken up here and dumped outside on "mount anfield", will eventually be carted back to replace the soil that's being lifted with the new turf, wherever that is! Btw, anybody know where the turf is grown..., East Anglia maybe?
