@@StargazerZ99 or even when it became very clear that they were intentionally trying to distract the pitcher right before or possibly during his delivery, the umpires didn't have any problem with that either. And then why didn't the manager come out, go talk to the pitcher, or pull him from the game? Surely someone had to be aware that their pitcher was being yelled at by the opposing coach? Do your job and keep your pitcher focused. Change the signs or stick to other pitches but keep the pitcher protected.

But if you're a pitcher and you know it's happening, you're going to want it to stop. Games within the game

Yes, sign stealing is fine, but when you are yelling shit from the bench before pitches to help the hitter know what's coming, that's crossing the line.

@@sparkswood9540 As long as you're not using technology to cheat, it's fair game. Just because it hurts the pitcher's feelings, that doesn't mean they're wrong.

The orioles have the worst record in baseball, if they’re cheating it’s clearly not working. Crazy how a guy with less than 1 full season of being good thinks the other team has to be cheating if they don’t swing and miss at every single breaking ball.

Confession time: not a big baseball fan. I do, however, enjoy watching jomboy's breakdowns. Perhaps there is hope for me. Question from an amateur: what's the big problem with the opposing team reading the catcher or pitcher and signaling the batter? To me, it seems a natural complexity of the game.

There isn’t anything wrong with it as long as it’s done legally with no cameras, electronics etc. however pitchers are very sensitive and don’t like the opposing batter getting any edge
