Prima in italiano, ti seguo da tempo e sono un tuo fan e la maggior parte delle volte sono d'accordo su quello che proponi nei tuoi video, in questo caso però ,sul punto 3, lavora sulla parte bassa della zona, non sono pienamente d'accordo, dal mio punto di vista come pitching coach dipende molto da quale angolo si riesce a dare alla palla , soprattutto per quello che fai vedere come battitore , se c'è un arbitro onesto con l'attuale tendenza dei battitori, usare bene la parte alta dello strike , può essere una buona arma. Now I try in english, I follow you from long time, and usually I'am agree with you, but in this case as a pitching coach, on the point 3, I think that It depends on wich type of pitch angle your pitcher Is able to, if we have a good umpire, using the hight part of the zone can be a good idea, not for all pitches but, seing the tendence of hitters we have a lot of Easy Flying ball. Anyone teaching a hitter to swing down on a baseball probably shouldn’t be in player development. The pitcher is throwing from a 8-10 inch tall mound. This means the baseball is approaching the strike zone on a downward plane as the force of gravity takes effect . If my swing is also on a downward plane, instead of on the samepath as the pitch, in order to make good contact, I have to be almost exact on my swing timing at the moment of impact!
