Chronixx: “Majesty” (Official Music Video)

Күн бұрынOn "Majesty," the Jamaican singer-songwriter Chronixx pays respect to all the queens in this beautifully orchestrated interpretation of the Jamaican singer Otis Gayle's 1971 Studio One classic ‘I’ll Be Around" (originally sung by the '70s soul group The Spinners). In the video (directed by Che Kothari and Chronixx), the singer serenades his love in a dreamy scenario, set in a rustic cabin surrounded by the lush Jamaican scenery of Strawberry Hill Together in the parish of St. Mary. "Majesty" will serve as the first visual from Chronixx's debut album Chronology (slated for early 2017 release) and is also included on the Spanish Town-native’s recent mixtape Roots and Chalice with NYC-based Federation Sound, which dropped earlier this year.
In support of his debut album Chronology, Chronixx announces his headlining 2017 North American Tour (dates below).

Just got back from Jamaica and this video truly embodies the beauty and culture of Jamaica and Jamaicans. Jamaica is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. Incredibly picturesque, magnificent oceans, amazing food and people. What makes Jamaica, Jamaica IS the people. Jamaicans are the most hospitable, kind, warm people on the planet. Chronixx is a real ladies' gentle man.I think some guys need to study all the pages in his book because he depicts all the content of a good man. I love the video concept with the pregnant especially the fact that he adores her completely. My favourite part is when she starts to feel pain and he rushes to start the car to take her to hospital. That part is so touching seeing how he takes care of her including the family who prepares the food for her as well. In addition, he ensures she is fit by exercising with her
