I stumbled upon your comment tdy while commenting on a question.... Just couldnt hold back to write this... I also lost my father this year ( all of a sudden, unexpectedly) in very difficult circumstances surrounding our family. However, there are certain incidents that occurred just before he passed away and was similar to what you had mentioned. Though I'm totally a stranger , if I may be allowed to say this ( with your humble permission) - Your dad must hv been a great soul and had received " anugraha" of Baba Bholenath due to his karma in this life and perhaps bcoz of his "parabdha karma"....And perhaps he was an "old soul" as well ( I dont know if you will understand this)....My humble obescience to that great soul who was your father in this life of yours 🙏🙏 May be I had " intuitively" figured out why it happened, the way it happened in my life but still there are many questions , the answer to which I'm also searching.....Certain incidences, certain visions, certain "nimittyas"..... As we embark on our indiviual journeys trying to figure out answers to our individual questions ( those who are serious about it and in today's age and time not everyone even thinks about it. As one of the monks whom I meet in the Himalayas while studying Advaita Vedanta had put it- it also requires the blessings and anugraha of the Devata to even hv deep spiritual questions and sincerely search for the answers. At that point of time, I didnt understand the deeper meaning nor do I understand now " fully", however there has been some realization over the years ). My sincere wishes to your " soul" - may you find answers to your questions that will lead to more questions perhaps culminating in the bigger question of who am I and what is my soul's mission in this lifetime.... Just a humble suggestion - Everyday we spent so much time on unnecessary things .... If you can , everyday atleast chant one mala ( 108 times) of Lord Vishnu with a sankalp that the " punya" accrued in " his lotus feet" be attributed to your father and to your pitrus ( ancestors)... May your sadhana of Baba Bhairav make you " fearless" ( in front of adversities as well as unwanted materialistic attractions that life often tests us with) and help you in your quest of finding answers ( thus finding peace within yourself - the greatest treasure that one can hv ). @@captainnemo1606 Hello! Sorry I'm reading this now after 5 months because I didn't come back to this video until now, after all the Kedarnath reels popping up. Your words are utmost kind. Yes, you are a stranger but what is really a stranger in Sanatan? I have had time to process it and while I was angry as Shiva for 'tainting' the memory of Kedarnath, I have come to realize it has always been his blessing, every single time! How can I be mad at someone for taking care of my needs before I even needed them? I met my husband in 2010 who is from Uttarakhand and if it wasn't for his extended family, the handover process (of the body) and anthyesti would have been a nightmare. So imagine, because my father had to depart in 2023 in Uttarakhand, I had to meet my husband in 2010 out of the blue. I'm not searching for answers anymore related to his passing, I know it was divine kripa all along. Some days when sadness overcomes my mind, I do nitya pooja out of habit while other days out of bhakti. While I personally engage with Bhairav/Shiva sadhna only, my husband is a Sri Rama bhakta and through his sadhana (and of the kripa of his ancestors) our blessings have been intertwind and Baba has been nothing but gracious and kind. @@lifelatelybysumedha Yes Sumedha... Everything happens for a reason - we humans with limited intellect and vision fail to understand his " Lila".... In my last comment , I had shared that I lost my father last year. This year, on the death anniversary of my father , at the very same time , I lost my mother....Same day, same time - just year apart ...... Today, I'm just a spectator of my own life - as if I'm watching a film of my own life following my learnings from Adaivata Vedanta and whatever little I could learn from Himalayan masters.... Just trying to connect the dots in my life and trying to understand the reason for my existence... You know an interesting thing ? Upasana of Baba Bhairav and Ma Adi Shakti will invariably bring Lord Narayana in your life...Perhaps that it is one of the reason why your husband is a worshiper of Lord Rama...... Single women, whose brother will not do or refuses to do tarpan....or any such ritual...dismisses it as superstition and andh vishwas....in such a case what is to be done? I have heard that women must not do the pitru tarpan and such rituals and you mentioned doing something wrong against what's is given in the shastras will have negative effect...

Your parents will have to do pind daan (in hindi). Talk to a pandit near your home. If you are from North India, then your parents will have to go to Gaya (Bihar) and Badrinath. This is on a very high level I am talking, there are other protocols that your parents will have to follow, but again the details can be shared by your pandit. And this goes without saying that when your parents will do pind daan, they will do it for their ancestors as well whose pind daan is pending.

@@kineticBoss OK, thank you, that clears some stuff up. One question, if my parents can't travel or aren't fit enough to travel, can't I do the same by going by myself as I am the one having pitra dosh in my Kundli and not them.

@@Nonabacha43 you are correct. Right after unusual experience I started Hanuman chalisa 5times daily for 21 days. Later i felt good protection. Am planning to start batuka bairava Upasana . But i want to know my isthadevata and need to meet spiritual people in upcoming days.

Do the simple Bhairav mantra sadhana which he has told daily continuously for months until you have completed atleast 125000 chants of the mantra. Lord Bhairav will guide you from there onwards.

Vishnu sahasranama is to be done on amavasya or everyday for pitru paksha and how many times minimum

@@Ruchika103 if you can, do everyday for all 14 days....Before that take a Sankalp " on that particular day" before doing vishnusharshanam that the " punya" of chanting will go to the pitrus...Why this is important? First any puja remains incomplete without a sankalp ( in mandir or your daily puja) Second - Some people cant do it everyday for 14 days continuosly... So, dont take sankalp before hand that for 14 continuous days, I will do it.... Everyday take the sankalp for that particular session and complete it..... Third, how many times to do it - it depends how much time you can devote... Another way is - you can offer water , food ( till and some white food - sugar, michri etc..) , light one ghee ka diya , incense stick - all facing towards south and facing south direction you can do 1 mala , 3 mala etc chanting " Om namah Bhagwate Vasudevaye." And then offer the " punya" of the japa to your pitrus....Obviosly before manta japa take this sankalp that the punya will go to your pitrus....

Sister, During menstruation you should tell the deity your problem and ask for forgiveness, and ask him/her that after you get pure, you would continue the Sadhana/Anushthanam, then after your periods end, you should continue the sadhana from the next day after taking full body bath (including head). You can chant the name of your ishta dev in your mind if you like, during the menstruation period. I'm no expert, I've learnt this from KZfaq only. :) Jai Shree Ram🙏
