Me too. Yeah he missed 2 but it was still 0-0 that team lost that fumbles had 5 chance to score bad play calls.

Brings a smile to my face everytime I see him miss those field goals. He talks a big game but he not only can’t handle the pressure in big moments, he has to change positions cause he’s to scared. What a tool

@@ElGuaje007 Literally every team ranked in front of LSU lost the final week with the exception of Ohio State (who didn't play) & Georgia (who LSU surpassed being the superior team in the conference).

@@ElGuaje007 Kansas loss, WV loss. Georgia didn’t play in the SEC title game. Ohio state was #1, and we jumped Virginia tech because we beat them earlier in the year

I remember watching this one live, but I didn't remember it was scoreless into the two-minute warning in the first half. This game was the Brawl at its best -- an absolute defensive slugfest. #H2P

7:39 Pat White is not happy, lol This has to be the 3rd biggest upset of the 2007 season, IMO. 2nd being Stanford, a 41-point underdog, beating No. 2 USC, and 1st, of course... App State over No. 5 Michigan. Most likely your best chance to get to the National Title game, and you somehow blow it... West Virginia has still not recovered from this to this day.

No they didn’t. West Virginia kept shooting themselves in the foot and Lesean became Shady McCoy right before everybody’s eyes cuz he was killing them the whole game

@@DjMustang24 rewatch the game. at least several bullshit holding calls on #88 that kept the eers in the game. Honestly that game should have been like 24-7 if not for the zebras. Big mouth missed 2 fgs for the hicks so i'll give you that but they got their asses handed to them the rest of the game.

Pitt got screwed about 5 different times in this game. The holding calls on the receiver literally looked like the ref had money on wvu they were very suspicious they were that bad

the calls were awful.....they tried to screw PITT/ o'derrick turner sooooo bad with phantom holding calls which took away shady mccoy touchdown....it makes the win even more great....H2P

2007 Season was INSANE in CFootball. I believe Pitt kept WVU OUT of the National Title game in 2007 Season.

They went ultra conservative and didn't attack downfield for most of the game. Pitt made them pay by outnumbered them in the box, and they didn't adjust. Corners played off the ball deep, and they didn't throw curls until the end of the 4th quarter. I think after those two field goal misses they got in their heads and played not to lose

I wish I could go back in time to this year and bet all my money on Appalachian St to beat Michigan, Stanford beating USC, and Pitt winning this one. And then I'd take all that money and invest in Bitcoin a few years later lol.

Thos WVU team CHOKED soooooo bad. All WVU had so was BEAT Pittsburgh. 2007 West Virginia ended up rolling up the Oklahoma Sooners in a BCS Bowl 2007 Season, after this L.

I think this is tp5 hardest College Football loss EVER. (Translation= meaning hard L for a school's fanbase.) ESPECIALLY since WVU destroyed an Oklahoma team in a BCS Bowl after this L. WVU destroyed a Oklahoma team who rolled imo the "best team in the country in 2007." Not once, but TWICE! The Missouri Tigers. If West Virginia would of played scared/jittery like they did vs Pitt? OU wins "56-13." Imo... Crazy 2007 Season? Missouri vs West Virginia imo was the TRUE National Title game. Imo? The tp2 teams of that crazy 2007 Season.

This was one of those games where it should have been a lot worse for WVU even though they shouldnt have been in that dreadful of a situation in the first place. The west virginia offense barely attacked downfield the entire game and they made them pay by stacking the box.

Well this was during the 6 year streak a SEC team won the national championship. ESPN really started to go all in on the SEC around this time so maybe your opinion is right this game was a fix to force the then BCS to take a 2 loss LSU team that year due to how crazy that season was or was it all a fix by ESPN to benefit the SEC. Alabama the next year really started to launch their dynasty.

SMH WOW...all West Virginia had to do was beat a TERRIBLE Pittsburgh team. AT HOME!!!!!! Blame HAS go on the Head Coach of West Virginia. Why? The week before this gm? Should had NEVER been looked at as a "Rivalry." Because of how shitty Pitt was in 07 Season.
