Pixel 6a was Google's midrange last year with dual camera borrowing from last generation Pixel 5 while Pixel 7a has an overhauled camer sensors with 64mp main and 13mp ultrawide.

Good review. I was feeling a little bad about not being able to move from the 6a to 7a already, but I don't think I'm missing much. Honestly, I still vastly prefer the size of the 4a (which I kept for storage lol). If this thing were the same size I would've grabbed it in a heartbeat.

If used pixel 6 and used pixel 6a are very close in price then which one you should prefer me to buy for best photography and stabilized video performance?? Or 4a 5g ?? I have recently felt that pixel 6 series make selfie over sharp , unrealistic, over blur ... And night photos gonna more darker than previous generation... Even in low light room , it shows yellow or greenish color of a white color wall.

I think if i had tp choose between the 6a and 7a, I'd be more inclined to pick the 6a. There is a major difference in cost

I prefer the color of the 6a (slightly more natural) and the lowlight of the 7a, but for the price, 6a is way better for me, maybe my next phone

I currently have the 3a (I only upgrade when absolutely necessary) so the next phone I buy still needs to be ok in a minimum of 3 years. So I'm conflicted because I dont know which one to get! I need a good camera for product shots...but is the 6a going to feel way too old by next year? 🤔 Any advice welcome

same my 3a is stuck on a black screen and wont turn on ;-; it was full charged. I'm not sure if i should upgrade to the 6a or 7a I'm going to miss having a headphone jack

I still haven't made my decision, but IF it's the 7a, it's because the security/software updates should last longer...on the basis that I'll be using it for the next 4 years. Hmmm

Better dynamic range on pixel 7A. Won by a great margin. In all pictures I predicted correctly which is pixel 7A

*Marginal difference tbh.* Pixel 7a pulls slightly ahead in low-light due to it's newer sensor but thats about it. I also prefer the portrait mode blur on the Pixel 6a which mimicks a professional faster lens for portraits, quite artistic. That gradual blur on Pixel 7a's portrait mode is quite common with a less compressed background but it'll indeed show less edge detection errors and less bokeh balls. Cheers 🥂

I've been pondering on getting the 6a (since 7a is still off my budget) but the fact that it is an older model makes me somewhat skeptical. It's late 2023 and pixel is on 8s right now. So I tend to worry about software support and optimization. The battery too, idk it's not even 4500mah and the phone doesn't have sd slot and I have all my photos in one. It's complicated I really like the camera so I just wish I could combine the pixel 6a and Samsung a54 into one lol I'm so torn

i have a 6a. at the time there where many videos comparing 6a vs a53. i can say i think i made the right choice. the battery is not an issue, it is a one-day battery phone. you will still have 4 years of support! i had the chance to compare it with a Galaxy A34. the picture quality is similar. the biggest difference was that the colors of the 6a looked like the real thing! the galaxy was colorfully, but it didn't have the exact same color. i would say, i made the right choice and have nothing to complain about.

from a price-performance, no! Not to a pixel 6a. the galaxy a54 is for me 80€ cheaper then the pixel 7a. in my eyes, the a53 is to good to be switched to a newer model, from a price performance viewpoint. i would wait until the pixel 8a and galaxy a55 come out. then compare this two models and select by my preferences.@@sieci7

This doesnt make sense. Why is the 7a obviously sharper when zoomed in the other comparison I've seen, but here it's the exact opposite? Almost every pick ive made has been wrong :|

Great video here, thanks!! I'm having a hard time making a decision between these two. This video has helped me quite a bit. So my future choice: 6A. I just wish Google would stop with adding to certain areas of the camera by taking away from others; for one, autofocus for the front facing camera. They haven't been awesome since the 3XL. That ticked me off.

I got myself a 7a. Had 6a before. The difference is HUGE. The phone feels much more premium and it's just better in most regards. The only downside is charging speed. But it's just as painfully slow on 6a

and I will just add on the downside, on Snow White color, the bezels look particulary thick haha! but as expected, same with Pixel 6a. but overall, deum, a really good phone! 😁

@@GadgetRevNow yeah the bezels are thick on this thing. But it's not a dealbreaker for me. I have a blue 7a, put a case on it and barely notice them anymore. Will definitely be using this phone for a while. Probably until Pixel 9 gets released. Unless Pixel 8 is something extraordinary. Thanks for great comparisons man! Always waiting for your take 🙌
