Your battery test was very helpful to me I was using the bedtime mode and was waking up and having used 20% when I turned on aeroplane mode as well as bedtime mode I was waking up to 15% used over night I'm loving my google pixel watch 1st gen I'm getting very good battery life as I don't use it for fitness and I use tap to wake its a ❤ watch I do prefer the stainless steel on the first model but would like the battery life on the pixel 2 I'm not into the fitness so I'm fine with it I've only had it 2 weeks got it sale price for £200 uk will not be upgrading till maybe pixel 3 as I also have gw4 using both for different reasons Just brought myself a new champagne gold mesh metal strap from amazon looks the bees knees nice for evening wear so very classy looking forward to your next 😊 vide

Thank you so much, and I'm glad to hear you found the battery saving video helpful. I agree that stainless steel casing was better, and I'm disappointed that Google decided to drop Stainless Steel for Aluminium. I can understand why you're happy with Pixel1, as you're not using it for fitness. It makes perfect sense to buy it, and apart from the sensors and processor, not much has changed. You're right that the champagne gold mesh metal strap is beautiful and will be perfect for evening wear. I've ordered the silver version, and I'm looking forward to that :)

Yes, so this battery test was a combination of AOD on and off. So when at work, AOD was on for roughly 8 hours, and once home, AOD was off. I will do another test with AOD off and see how long the PW2 battery lasts :)
