@Pixelated Apollo That lag you were getting around 23:30 onwards for a bit might well have been rangers firing somewhere. Something about their body piercing arrows shooting into blobs seems to cause spikes in lag.

Oooh, some more Third Age! I'm sure we all hope this train keeps a-rollin', because Third Age is magnificient. Also, the tidbit about purple being an expensive color, it's a pretty neat look into a minute detail of history. The reason why it was so expensive (at least in the Roman days) was because it was gathered from shells. Hundreds and thousands of shells would be needed to make enough dye for one toga, which was reserved for the Emperor and any Imperators returning from victorious conquests. So it was super, super rare in Rome's days due to the massive labor involved in the production process. Interesting, ain't it? Edit: Oh I didn't get to the part when you talked about the snail shells. Seashells were also used, too.
