Small club, always happy to see the love Europe continues to give the Pixies. On the left side your getting a lot more sound from Joey’s amps which is nice or maybe its just the FOH mix. Louder from Joey than usual nothing wrong with that!

they have not sounded so good in 30 years ....specially Frank's voice !!! .saw them at their very beginnings in Belgium in 1989 and 1990 ( 2 times ) and not so long ago in 2017 . Was hoping to see them this summer but my activities could not match their Tour dates .

Ouvi Pixies pela primeira vez em 1989, um amigo que me emprestou uma cassete (cassete?! como o tempo muda e avança 🙂) e depois ouvi, e depois continuei a ouvir, mais tarde ainda ouvia e hoje ainda ouço e de certeza que enquanto tiver audição vou continuar a ouvir porque é muito bom 👋🇵🇹

Eres yo???? Yo también escuché a Pixies por primera vez en 1989 en un cassette prestado. Todavía me acuerdo: Come on Pilgrim y Surfer Rosa por un lado y Doolittle por el otro. Aquí sigo, más de 30 años después escuchando a Pixies.

Few guitarists’ sound i doubt showcases the hum-bucking pickup more than that of Joey Santiago. I mean you could give Joey some different amps or pedals but the hum-bucker is Joey’s not so secret sauce.

Love Pixies. I got everything on vinyl. But Pixies without Kim Deal is like StarWars without Darth Vader. Gouge Away can not be played without Kim Deal!!!!!

Yeah for Gigantic yes but I think Paz proves you wrong on your first point otherwise so nah its clearly Franks band and Darth Vader was just a heavy breathing James Earl Jones with a helmet and a cape who remotely squeezed your shirt collar if you disagreed with him. :)
