Not sure how you can classify the last few songs on Doggerel as “petering out,” particularly as You’re Such a Sadducee explodes with such a payload of weird brilliance. But I feel super emotionally connected to this record and opinions are just that.

Trompe is incredible. Such a strange record but one of my all time faves. Still sounds so fresh to me.

I experienced Indie Cindy as an LP and it’s really good imo. Very underrated

Even if my favorite will always be "Bossanova", I must admit that "Indie CIndy ", a powerful comeback in its time, could be their most well structured album : not one weak song, the incredible first track to start the album like a screaming declaration of war, some punk pop noisy stuff balanced by some more chill out sounds, and then the ending, the amazing last song "Jaime Bravo" which is for me like the last scene or the end credits of a film, a sort of "goodbye, guys, hope you have enjoyed the ride, see you next time, we love you" :)
