@#$%, true story, an hour and a half ago I started tediously cutting out EVERY LEAF of a fir tree in a mask so I could transpose it to another background. Even with Topaz Remask, it was so time-consuming. I finally got it done, and to rest my brain I thought I'd hope on KZfaq. This was literally the first video in my feed, added an hour ago. FML.

You're a king. Everything explained clearly with some revision of underlying concepts to boot.

+PiXimperfect I have one tip for you, try using only one mask, multiples of the same mask create aliasing, sometimes obvious sometimes not. Group the layers that need to be masked and apply the mask to the group layer only, you'll get cleaner lines that way.

I see how it works with different contrast colours. But If I had a yellow background, with some greens on it, similar to the tree? Like other trees or a wall. How should we do it?
