It's not sitting well with him, huh? They're a big corporation so they have the finances. 😂 It's a franchise, look up what that means before you pass judgment on something you understand nothing about. Open your own franchise & I'm sure you'll understand why they're doing this. Give your hate to Gavin, these stores are just trying to stay profitable enough to keep giving you pizza in your area SMFH

If you can't afford to pay a few bucks more an hour than your business sucks anyway.

People see the brand and think they're rich, they have the money. The franchisee has to pay a fee to the parent company for the franchise and they have to pay all of the expenses, including labor and taxes. There's no big pot of money in the company office. These businesses will go through millions of dollars over years before they see a single dime of profit. Ask people if they will pay a big increase for the cost of the product and they'll say sure. But in reality it never happens. The customers will find a cheaper alternative. The government can mandate a 50 dollar an hour wage if they want. The true minimum wage is always zero. Fast food chains are already looking at robots and other technology to replace workers. You get paid according to the value you bring to an employer. The government increasing the cost does not increase the value the worker brings.

@@beelikemizu604 You know those franchise owners would pay 3.00 per hour if they could get away with it.

In the Philippines some fast foods let go of their motorcycle delivery but a company set up an app for delivery like grab eats.
