Im baisically fooling around with things now untill the full game releases. Theres only 2 weeks left till it comes as a reminder! Because of that im not gonna make anymore levels, because it would be pointless seeing as i cant port object placements with utmt, and also more than likely a good ammount of level layouts will be changed. Anyway, I thought of some way to spice up lapping, and was reminded of the weapon machines from good old sage demo (god how time goes by). I think using the points earned from your current combo seem balanced enough, more than a random chance to get coins from blocks, and for now, you can get a pizza shield, a shotgun, and the toppin warriors. Shield takes one hit from enemys, a shotgun is... well... a shotgun, and the toppin warriors take one hit from pizzaface. The shield is the cheapest and the toppin warriors are the most expensive. also added some more visuals like the baddies bodies spinning out when flying is back, debris from blocks will now follow your momentum. Also i have no idea why but the panic shaders are ungodly weird, and break certian background layers, specifically speeding up and reversing the speed of background_2 and background_3 layers, and a few other background layers,
i think it has something to do with obj_parralax but i have genuinely no idea what is up with it, so imma see what i can do to fix it for the final game, i do wonder if ptg will bring back the panic shaders back into the final game, or at least maybey for the final escape. Anyway, enjoy.

the more i realize it i think the panic shaders were trying to be like an oven heating up(haha cause pizza oven), with the backgrounds constantly flashing red, wavyness, and a motion blur filter being put over the screen

More than likely i will make a discord server for this after the game is released(since there are literally only 4 days left), and i make at least entrance with extra enemys and fake peppino. After that i will start adding everything else ive added to it. I do realize now that it will most likely be weird if the game updates, i have no idea how that will effect my mod, but i will attempt my best to keep it on the most recent verion of it once it releases. We got 4 days left till it releases, so keep your eyes peeled and wallets open on steam, youtube, twitter, everywhere and support ptg! (also of for some reason yall people have any other ideas for lap 2 and 3 music, and/or any ideas for extra obstacles for lapping, leave some ideas) Hope yall can get pizza tower! Cant wait for everyone to slay pizzaface, for the first time in nearly 5 years. (Also, i may release one final update video right before the game releases with some of the extra minor things ive added, like i changed the comboend thingie to be more like d3 and last longer, i sorta fixed the panic background shader, most work, but some level specific layers dont work, even if the layer works on another level. Like for example, Background_1 and Background_2 work on entrance, and Dungeon, but Background_2 speeds up in medieval. Background_H1 works in Badlands, But it doesnt work in the Ancient Cheese.) Also at some point i kind of show off some unused rooms and stuff objects, when the game releases, but for NEARLY EVERY IMPORTANT BUILD, just to take a look back on the things that could have been or were implemented in the final game. Just an idea, since no one has really covered all of the unused stuff in game, i just need a decent editing software.

A lot of these mods have that same issue where they just throw random shit in for "difficulty." It completely misses the point of the laps.

To clear confusion: *THIS IS NOT SCOUTDIGO SHUT UP* this runs on the eggplant build so if you want to play it you have to have the eggplant build version but also, they are gonna make a final game version of the mod but sadly it won’t have the sonic music
