@@humanbeing2331 Now I don't want to start a virtual "war" but ok. His intentions were to get rid of the gods right? So he's bad right? Wrong. He didn't want the gods around because he never felt loved by Hermes and he knew that other demigods didn't either by their godly parent. He didn't just "Stab" himself. "Hero's soul cursed blade shall reap." Lemme elaborate. The hero is most definitely Luke. He knew his weak point and he saved everyone in technicality. Furthermore, the phrase "cursed blade" refers to his broken promise. This brings me to my next point. Yes, Luke did break his promise, but he did make it in the first place, right? He believed that they would have been a family. Khronos manipulated Luke using his hate for gods. Just think about it. If Percy had been at camp for a while and had or had not been claimed, and Khronos was able to contact him, would Percy have turned? Claypso cleverly asked once to Percy, "Do you support the gods because you feel they are correct, or because they are your family?" Percy stayed silent to that. The gods are wrong but that doesn't validate what Luke did. Another thing, Luke still cared for Annabeth. Whether or not because of romantic feelings, it still showed he considered her safety. When in Sea of Monsters if you noticed he said he would give them the fleece after done using it. Maybe it was true, maybe he was lying. But we can't say he didn't care about Thalia. They battled in the Titan's Curse. Luke used a memory of them cursing the gods to try to get her on his side. Luke didn't make good choices but his initial thoughts were love and family. A stable family. He realized what would happen to him when he went to visit Annabeth under a flag of truce. Luke is not a particularly great person, but he is the hero of the prophecy. He got what he wanted and do you see how happy it made the unclaimed stuffed in cabin 11? How happy it initially made Nico? He isn't the bad guy anymore. He was, but as the word spy died at Selina's shroud burning, the word traitor slipped of the ways to describe Luke after the war. You're not wrong, but you are definitely not right either. This is my opinion and you can believe what you want to, but please take these points into account.
