Hello Friends,
In this video you will learn how to create a dynamic Map in Microsoft Excel. We have explained 2 example. First how to fetch Population, Area and Density data from Wikipedia page using Power Query and display on the Map. Second, we have connect with the excel table State wise sales data. Office 365 subscription is required to create a filled map.

Is there a way to reference the rich data cell (e.g. Rajasthan state) in an Excel Function such as XLOOKUP for further calculations? Excel functions seem to have a problem when including such cells. =XLOOKUP(Rajasthan,India[State],B:B)

Hi, it's better to choice space and k in "text before delimiter" to extract exactly only number in the AREA. When you extract only k you will end up with number and space. In the transformation power query is smart enough to recognize number and space as number. But you better do it right

Unfortunately not. Map charts can only plot high-level geographic details, so latitude/longitude, and street address mapping isn’t supported
